Catering staff during breakfast all very friendly and the Manageress (I am assuming due to dressing differently), mymuna(?) was very professional and took good care of the entire family. She also has excellent local knowledge and was able to direct me to a particular bookstore. There is a hotel buggy which can drop you off to nearby locations, very handy!"

"I don't usually write hotel reviews, but after our stay at Fairmont Doha for my birthday, I felt like I had to. We arrived a bit later than planned, but Mr. Ahmet at the front desk turned what could've been a stressful check-in into the smoothest start to a celebration. Not only was he incredibly kind, but he also managed to upgrade us to a balcony room on the 14th floor which, honestly, already had me grinning. Here's where it gets special. When we walked into the room, Ms. Aya was already there, arranging a birthday cake on the table. Turns out, because of the last-minute room change, the team had to scramble to make sure I still got the same welcome experience. and they absolutely pulled it off. I told her she didn't need to go the extra mile, but she disappeared and came back with rose petals and balloons to decorate the table anyway. In what felt like no time at all, she'd created this beautiful, thoughtful setup. Aya, if you're reading this, Thank you. Your professionalism and warmth really meant the world to us. The room itself was stunning, and the view from the balcony was the kind you just want to soak in. If it weren't for the Doha humidity, I probably would've camped out there all night. We ordered room service later, and while I can't remember the team member's name who took our call, I do remember how kind and patient they were. My fiancée is vegetarian, so they checked with the chef to find the best option for her and the pizza that arrived just perfect. Chef, you crushed it. Later, we were thinking about heading to Cyra to catch the final match, and that's when Mr. Ahmed (I think he is the manager) stepped in literally. He came up to our room himself, walked us through the menu, laid out all the options, and even secured us a table. The whole interaction felt so genuine, not scripted, not rushed, just someone who clearly cares about his guests. He made sure our dietary needs were covered, got us a great spot, and his team delivered service that was nothing short of fantastic. If you're ever at Cyra, do yourself a favor and ask for Mr. Ahmed. You're in the best hands, I promise. We also got a late checkout with zero hesitation, which was such a relief. And on our way out, Ms. Simona at checkout was just outstanding, professional, warm, and made us feel like we mattered right until the very end. It was only one night, but the way the entire Fairmont team came together to make my birthday special.. That's the kind of thing that stays with you. From Ahmet and Aya to Ahmed in Cyra and his amazing team, Simona Duty Manager, the chef, and everyone in between, thank you, truly. You didn't just host us, you gave us a memory.
