Sitting at the edge of Jeddah's new yacht marina, where the Red Sea opens to the horizon beyond a forest of masts, the building that houses The Jeddah EDITION presents a confidently contemporary face to the water — five stepped floors of limestone-clad terraces and dark-framed glazing, the massing softened by dense plantings of date palms that blur the boundary between architecture and landscape. The landmark pyramidal glass structure of the marina's sailing club rises directly outside the guestroom windows, framing the Red Sea in a geometry that no hotel designer could have planned. Ian Schrager's EDITION formula — that particular calibration of minimal luxury and social energy — finds an unexpected warmth here. The guestrooms hold to the brand's characteristic palette: bleached ash headboards, limestone-toned porcelain floors, low platform beds layered with camel throws, and floor-to-ceiling sliders that dissolve the room into the terrace and sea beyond. The restaurant shifts registers entirely, deploying curved velvet banquettes in dusty rose, cane-backed bistro chairs, and oxidised mirror panels that give the space a burnished, amber-lit intimacy more reminiscent of a Paris brasserie than the Gulf. The bar reaches further still — panelled in grid-pattern walnut, furnished with tufted sapphire velvet seating and a portrait gallery of dogs rendered with mock-aristocratic gravity — a room that wears its eclecticism with complete self-possession.

The hotel is located along the Jeddah Corniche next to the Yacht Club & Marina as well as the F1 racetrack, with easy access to Jeddah's City Center and the Mall of Arabia. "I had a wonderful stay at the gorgeous Jeddah EDITION. The room offered stunning views of the Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina and was in excellent condition. The hotel staff was extremely attentive & always anticipating your needs. The restaurant provided a delicious breakfast that had a wide array of very tasty dishes. Look forward to staying at The Jeddah Edition again and to recommending it to my friends and acquaintances!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the very warm welcome each time we arrived at the hotel. The room was just right - spacious and a very nice modern and clean design. Service and food in the restaurant was excellent. The rooftop pool is great for unwinding at the end of a hot day"

"The staff here is so rude. We didn’t stay at the hotel but drop by for meal at the bar. We asked for the staff to help call taxi, they asked back do I have uber? If not there’s no taxi here."

"I had an excellent stay at The Jeddah EDITION. The check-in experience was smooth and welcoming — special thanks to Ahmed Alotaibi, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, and to his colleague Abdellalah, both of whom provided outstanding customer service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great in-room technology that added a modern touch to the stay. The location is perfect — within walking distance to the Jeddah Yacht Marina, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés. Some rooms and the rooftop even offer beautiful sea views, and you can even see the Formula 1 track from there! The rooftop swimming pool and restaurant were fantastic, offering a stylish atmosphere and great views. The cigar lounge is also an excellent addition to the hotel’s luxury offerings. Overall, this hotel is an absolute gem in Jeddah, combining comfort, design, and top-tier hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit."

"Despite a lovely stay at the resort, it is imperative that I share this review. The incompetent front desk and accounting staff double charged me for my stay. Nearly 30 days after I departed I’m dealing with the fallout, with nearly $4,000 in extra charges on my credit card simply because of the front desk staff’s incompetence. Emailed follow ups went unanswered except in one instance which didn’t resolve the issue. I’ll never stay here again and will post in additional platforms regarding this highly negative experience."
