"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and genuinely exceptional. Our room was beautiful…spacious, immaculate, with top-quality bedding and furnishings — and the view over Table Mountain and the marina was incredible. Every detail felt luxurious, and we especially loved the thoughtful little gifts and sweet treats left in our room each evening. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a fantastic selection and excellent service from the breakfast team, who were always so friendly and attentive. We also used the gym several times during our stay and were really impressed as hotel gyms can be hit and miss - it’s well equipped and far better than you’d expect from a hotel gym. The pool area is beautiful and a perfect place to relax, and we also had dinner at the hotel one evening, which was absolutely gorgeous. The location is fantastic too — an easy walk to the V&A Waterfront, making it so convenient to explore. We did have one small mishap with a booking, but the team handled it brilliantly and went above and beyond to make it right. It didn’t impact our stay at all and actually showed how much they care about their guests. They also helped organise a fantastic trip to Cape Point, which was seamless and memorable. Overall, a truly top-notch experience with exceptional service, beautiful rooms, amazing food, great facilities and a perfect location. Thank you for such a lovely stay — we’ll definitely be back!"

"A beautiful hotel in the perfect location. The service at this stunning hotel is the first thing that strikes you in, plentiful, courteous and ever eager to please. The rooms are stunning, modern well designed and spacious. Our rooms had a view out to Table Mountain, spectacular. The public areas have a special view over Table Mountain through huge windows from the cocktail lounge. The swimming pool is beautiful and complemented by excellent poolside service. Breakfast is lovely, endless choice, great service in a great setting. We were impressed to see the hotel General Manager welcoming guests one morning, a nice touch. A minor check in issue was quickly corrected, a test of a great operation."

"Wow! What an unexpected stay at the One and Only Cape Town. This was our first visit, and from the minute we walked through the stunning beautifully fragranced foyer, the brand name came to life. This is well appointed building with up, close and personal views of Table Top Mountain. We had a problem with the smell of our initial room, and everything was done to make sure we were moved and upgraded to something more suitable. The staff were exceptional, able to take responsibility for what went well, and what didn’t. The Spa therapists were great, although the product push at the end felt a bit much. All in all, would we return… Yes, Yes, Yes. Thank you Carmenita for your generosity, professionalism and care; Melvin at breakfast, for your warmth care and fabulous juices, to the amazing concierge team for our great escapes and dining choices, and Margaret for looking after our room.
