"Love this hotel! Close to everything, it’s centrally in Hongdae and easy to navigate. Closer to ICN too, lots of shopping near by, and if you’re doing hair - the Soonsiki salon is steps away! Make sure you go grab a yummy kimbap from the ahjussi cart by the Hongsik University MTR! We arrived way too early… our flight landed at ICN around 5am… we got to the hotel around 6:30AM… the hotel is chic, the staff are very nice and welcoming. We got upgraded to a higher floor as Marriott Bonvoy members. Also offers late check out. A nice plus. However didn’t have early check-in like other rewards membership (aka FHC). That would be my only tsk-tsk about the hotel, check in time is 3pm! The room is clean, love the hardwood floor! modern and the bathroom is really nice with a rain shower, bidet with separate toilet in an enclosed area… we love the free water refill, BUT please bring your own slippers… bc it’s an eco-friendly hotel, those slippers are reuse-able ones… you might not like that. We had our airplane ones that we used. Has a nice seating area to lounge about. Overall a great stay and would recommend for other travelers!"

"Positive experience all around. Exceptionally professional, warm and responsive team…From the front desk staff to the management team. Interesting design throughout & chill vibe that matches the area (Hongdae). We passed the gym several times, and it appeared well tended and modern, the breakfast is what it needs to be, & the coffee shop in the lobby matches the coffee trends in Seoul at the moment, (Blue Bottle company at the time of stay). Room was very large, with expansive windows- Clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Small little touches make it feel special to stay here. Will definitely stay here again and honestly, wish we tried it out sooner! Thank you for a delightful stay."

"At the center of Hongdae, Ryse roars. Loved everything about the hotel. Location, layout, interior room design. I particularly appreciated their skin products and face mask, their complimentary beers (very much appropriate for the weather) and their in-room service. I stayed just for two nights but it was a truly delightful experience. The color selection is modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. Side note rooftop has some commanding views, not to be missed after a day of exploration. Boa and Dalia walked me through check-in and check-out: Kudos to these front desk girls for their welcoming and friendly spirit. Straight from the hotel, young and modern alleys invite one to get lost in the streets of Seoul. There is an Offer Bakery just in the back of the hotel which I did not try but looked at- their pastries do entice. Ryse in-room dining was memorable and super convenient (loved the tablet order placement device). I had thought of other places to stay in Seoul and I am so glad I booked at Ryse. Highly recommend!"

"Its almost excellent except no complete amneties provided eg toothbrush. However good touch with mask sheets given. Thoughtful to provide extra power keys for the room. Friendly and helpful receptions. Great f&b recommendations. Loved this strategic location in Hongdae. Sleek interior. Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Convenient open wardrobe space. Few steps away from local convenient shops and snacks shop. Theres even a 24 hrs gimbab store nearby. 5mins walk to subway line2. Direct train to incheon airport. All short walks to pubs night scenes and shopping streets. Awesome!"
