"Our stay at Almanac was fabulous! Every person that worked there was so friendly and helpful. We had a lot of family members and a lot of luggage and everyone went above and beyond to help us. We also had our six month old daughter with us and they had a crib set up in our room prior to us arriving. It was perfect and if I ever have the opportunity to return to Barcelona, I would definitely stay here again!"

"Do yourself a favour and stay here!! The second I walked in the door I felt taken care of. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, immediately attending to us. It had been very hot in Barcelona and coming to this hotel was a breath of fresh air. We booked the Junior Suite. It was perfect! The curtains opened upon arrival into our room, which is a nice greeting! Everything was digital. Very modern. Large room, huge king bed, giant soaker tub, double sinks, separate toilet, great rain shower, very cool art in the room representing Barcelona - everything felt bespoke, well thought out and luxurious. Our room faced a main boulevard but was very silent. Great blackout blinds also, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't want to leave the room!! We did venture up to the rooftop, which had a great view, nice bar and small plunge pool. A lovely spot to relax! The hotel is in a great location in the Eixample district. Super easy walking to great shopping, restaurants, the Rambla de Catalunya, many great coffee shops and not too far from the Gothic Quarter. We opted for the breakfast, which was definitely the right choice. It was the first time I have seen vegan / vegetarian options at a breakfast buffet in Europe, and was quite impressed. They had a wonderful variety of options for every pallet and I felt very spoiled for choice. Highly, highly recommend this property for your next Barcelona stay."
