"We stayed at the Edition Hotel Barcelona and I have to write this review specifically about Lucia at the front desk. We arrived late in the evening after a long flight and a rough, draining experience getting through customs. By the time we walked in, my family and I were exhausted. Lucia was the first person we saw, and she greeted us with a genuine smile that honestly turned our whole night around. She was warm, patient, and so kind to my kids after a long day of travel. She took the time to give us great recommendations for the city too. I travel a lot and meet a lot of people along the way, and there was something truly special about her. Her kindness did not feel like a performance, it felt real. If you stay at this hotel, I hope you get to meet Lucia. She made our stay memorable for all the right reasons, and this hotel is lucky to have her."

"I have stayed in many hotels over the years from Holiday Inn to Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons and everything in between. I have to say without any reservations that The Edition Barcelona eclipsed even the later two with their service and management. From the moment we checked in and handed a cool glass of Prosecco through to Juan arranging our taxi to leave, every minute was simply superb in every way. Dalma Frei at the Front Desk was there to greet us personally after a few email conversations and personally walked us up to a fabulous room where balloons and an incredible desert cake were waiting to greet us in the room for our wedding anniversary. My birthday happened to fall four days into our stay which Dalma made note of and again had balloons and a different dessert delectable waiting in our room!! She overheard us talking about going to the beach and had a beach bag with beach towels sent to our room for our sojourn. Everyone at the front desk and the hotel managers were above and beyond amazing. Maria at the restaurant was attuned to our every need upon meeting us on the first night, where we had dinner twice and a superb breakfast every morning. Jhoidys was always at our full attention throughout every morning’s breakfast. I cannot rave enough about this hotel. If it is ever a possibility to stay here, one should do whatever they can to make it come to fruition."

"I got mugged the day I checked into the hotel at the end of May 2026 and only one block from hotel. And two other individuals staying in that hotel also got robbed while I was there. They did not warn us (American Tourists) of the severity of the problem of pick pockets and muggings. They do not have adequate security at the front door, only a young bellhop, to look for pick pockets targeting that hotel. Also, since this in a very popular area near the Barcelona Cathedral and Market Building the police should have way more foot patrol policeman to keep the area safe."

"There may not be words to describe the exceptional service at the Edition Hotel in Barcelona. The property was great, especially the Rooftop Bar, and very convenient to the Gothic Quarter. But the team at this hotel is beyond a 5! From check in to check out, and every interaction in between, the service and friendliness was some of the best customer service we’ve experienced in our travels. Probably the best 5 days we’ve spent in a hotel. Thanks for a great stay in Barcelona."
