"Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location . All of the staff were very attentive and helpful. We loved all of the individual, beautifully decorated areas in the hotel to sit , drink coffee, have a glass of wine etc . We also loved the entertainment in the bar area at weekends . There was also a great breakfast buffet and the rooms were also gorgeous with a very comfortable bed. We will most certainly be back!"

"We like this hotel well enough despite the numerous small problems. The room was decent sized, as was the bathroom. And the location was just fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Problems? First, there were three plugs at the desk, all in use. We just unplugged the coffee maker. But the three plugs were in the corner of the desk in an awkward place. I carry enough plugs and cords to manage with a single plug. To be fair, there are plenty of other plugs in the room, but the desk is the most important. Second, the air conditioning was inscrutable (and it was in English!). Third, the room is right on the street and there is modest street noise but not too bad. Fourth, there are no shelves in the bathroom, so there was no place to store bath towels. Fifth, the two sets of hooks in the bathroom are too close together and too high. And some of the hooks were improperly installed and were loose. Sixth, there was only a desk chair in the room and only one luggage rack. I could go on a bit more but these are all easily fixable things. I gave it four stars anyway, but it was a close call. My wife says she would stay here again, but she has low standards. After all, she married me."
