"This was our fifth visit [my husband has lost a year!] and standards are as high as ever. The hotel and outdoor pool areas are spotless and maintenance is undertaken regularly, though not intrusively. From the warm welcome on arrival to the cleaners, the waiters etc, all the staff are friendly, professional, and helpful, and often remember your idiosyncrasies!. Rooms and balconies are spacious with sea views; nice fluffy towels and Rituals toiletries. Also bathrobes, slippers and a decent hairdryer. Nothing is too much trouble and every need is catered for with attention and thoughtfulness. Prompt and positive responses made a big difference - a missing table was produced within half an hour of arrival, and a broken balcony sunbed was reported and quickly replaced. There are 2 pool areas so getting a sun bed was never a problem and they cannot be reserved. A big shout out to the wonderful Birgitte on the roof top pool, as well as Jose and the other staff who bring towels, blankets [if necessary!] and help with sunbeds and umbrellas. The Mariesa bar with its wonderful view can be somewhat windy and chilly at times but the new seating arrangement and heaters have made a big difference. However what makes this bar so good are the staff - Raoul, Julian, Martina, Elvi and Adrian.- thank you all so much."
