"Hotel Bristol is ideally located in center-city Geneva with easy access to the train station, bus depot, and principal hsitoric sites in Old Town and across the town (with spectacular evening views of the Jet d'eau. A first-class and professional hotel staff - from concierge, to bellhop, and custodial care -- with gracious smiles and readiness to address all questions and offer guidance. Geneva is noted to be an extremely expense international city, and we felt the value of room charge, especially with additional services provided, such as the spa, steam room, offered decent pricing for the convenience and quality. Receiving a complimentary Geneva Tourist Bureau bus pass - in advance - for 24/7 use during our stay - from initial arrival to Cointrin Airport, to our final departure with train shuttle to the Airport from the downtown bus station - made transportation throughout our stay semless. For our six-day stay, we purchased a Swiss Rail Pass (circa $500.00) allowed us to explore Morges, Nyon, Bern, and Lucerne at heavily reduced rates. Bristol is located one block from the Bus Station which allowed us to easily travel to nearby Annecy, France, for a leisurely one-day visit (round-trip for two persons total, $36.00) Highly recommend that Hotel and Geneva for a Spring or Fall visit."
