"We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour group.. it is akatge hotel with sizable rooms, but they are not configured well. The hotel is located a little out of the city. So public transport was needed. Breakfast was extensive. It was a warm morning so we were able to eat outside in a beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful"

"Overall, we enjoyed our three-night stay at the InterContinental Genève, with just a couple of exceptions. Our room was spacious and offered a lovely view of Lake Geneva, the Jet d'Eau, and the mountains. While the bathroom was a bit cramped, we made it work. Note that the room features a stocked mini-fridge that is not complimentary, yet no prices were displayed for the items. Each evening, we had a relaxing drink and light dinner at the bar. The bartender, Arthur, was wonderful and crafted excellent drinks. However, the primary reason I cannot give this hotel a 5-star rating is the shower. Throughout our stay, my husband and I were randomly scalded by hot water. We tried to find a pattern to avoid it, but to no avail. It was highly unpleasant. Additionally, guests should be aware of ongoing road construction directly outside the hotel, which starts at 06:30, Monday through Friday. We were fortunate that only one night of our stay fell into this timeframe. I recommend waiting until the construction is finished before booking, unless you plan to be up by 06:30 anyway. As for the water temperature issues, you will have to decide if that is a dealbreaker for you."
