"SAVE YOUR MONEY. THIS HOTEL IS RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. We travel quite a bit. We recently stayed at this location as part of a special anniversary trip. We "splurged" on hotels throughout our time in Switzerland and thoroughly enjoyed every single one of the properties - except for this one. We paid an extraordinarily inflated ridiculous price and got very little in return. While the room was clean and comfortable, there was nothing "extra" about it. We paid for a river view room. The view was from two very small windows. The room was small. A queen bed - not a king size bed. And at more than $750 a night - breakfast should be included. Our other splurge hotels were gorgeous, large rooms with large balconies, king-size beds, beautiful breakfasts, an amazing staff - and many with extra sitting areas in the room. If you are considering this property, keep looking. Make sure you are actually getting something other than a basic room for this price point. We don't mind splurging, but the idea is to actually get something of value or special in return. You won't find that here."

"Dreadful experience!! Room we were shown was facing huge building works and very loud associated noise. On complaining was offered a 10% discount in compensation. This was accepted but not honoured on checkout as we had booked via a travel agent. Disgraceful and dishonourable. There were other problems such as with dining there and the rudeness of some of the restaurant staff. Be warned!!"

"Very uneven. First, the gourmet restaurant inside this hotel is truly an amazing dining experience. The. Front desk was unable for make a second key card for more than a day to get into the room. The room itself was small, but well appointed. A major drawback is that there is only one small elevator for seven floors. It is used by housekeeping, room service, as well as guests. The wait for the elevator is quite long and jams up the very small lobby, where there is a restaurant and reception. It is very hard to get to in a car or taxi.. I would suggest staying elsewhere but plan to eat at least once at La Rotisserie"

"We stayed here for 3 nights and paid a lot of money as hotel had very good reviews. We had a river view kingsize room booked which cost extra and when we walked up to the hotel we were very surprised to see the huge amount of building work which is going on right outside the hotel in the waterfront - building a new bridge directly in front of the hotel. We had requested a quiet room on a high floor, and on check in I asked if we could be away from the building works as there is a huge crane outside. The staff member said she would see if she could do anything but they were quite full. We ended up on a 3rd floor room, which is not the highest floor and we had a large view of the crane and building work to our left. Very disappointing as we were expecting so much more. The hotel is in a great location, staff are very professional and in the whole reasonably friendly. I wouldn’t recommend staying at the hotel at the moment though due to the building work which is due to go on for a long time. Also the bathroom in our riverside room was extremely small and cramped which I wouldn’t expect when paying as much as we did for a room"
