"Exceptional Service – Banyan Tree Has Become Our First Choice Worldwide We have stayed in many wonderful hotels and resorts around the world, both through my work as a businessman who travels frequently and through many family vacations — especially in Thailand, a country that our family truly loves. Banyan Tree Samui is a beautiful resort. The villas are stunning, the beach is incredible, the breakfast is excellent, and the entire property is wonderful. But what makes this place truly exceptional is something much more important: the service and the people. After recently staying at Banyan Tree Krabi and now at Banyan Tree Samui, I have come to realize that Banyan Tree offers perhaps the best and most personal level of service we have experienced from any hotel brand anywhere in the world. Having a dedicated Villa Host who is available through WhatsApp makes an enormous difference. Whatever you need — a reservation, transportation, an activity, a recommendation, or simply help with something — there is always someone there for you. It creates a feeling that everything is taken care of, allowing you to simply relax and enjoy your family. But above everything else, I have to mention one extraordinary person: Golf, our Villa Host. I arrived at the resort after falling from a bicycle and injuring my leg. I had a significant open wound that required daily cleaning and dressing. I initially thought I would need to visit a clinic or hospital every day during our stay to have it treated. Golf simply told me that he would help take care of me. And he did. Every single day, he has helped me clean the wound and change the dressing, always with incredible patience, kindness and genuine c oncern. Thanks in large part to him, my leg has improved and, more importantly, I have been able to continue enjoying this vacation with my wife and children instead of spending my days going back and forth to a clinic. I have traveled extensively throughout my life, and I honestly cannot remember experiencing this level of personal care from a hotel employee. Golf is not simply someone who provides excellent service. He is someone who genuinely loves helping people, and you can feel it in everything he does. Banyan Tree should be incredibly proud to have a person like him representing the brand. And Golf reflects something we have felt throughout our stay: every member of the team here seems to understand what true hospitality means. It is not only about fulfilling requests. It is about noticing what a guest needs, caring, and doing everything possible to make their stay special. After our experiences at Banyan Tree Krabi and Banyan Tree Samui, one thing is certain for our family: Whenever there is a Banyan Tree at a destination we are visiting, it will now be our first choice — in Thailand and anywhere else in the world. "We have stayed at several ultra-luxury resorts in the Maldives and many high-end hotels around the world, and we can honestly say that Banyan Tree Samui is pure luxury combined with genuine kindness. The resort itself is absolutely stunning: beautifully maintained, spotless, elegant, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. Another thing worth mentioning is how incredibly safe we felt throughout our stay. We never had any concerns about leaving our belongings unattended. We even accidentally left our safe open several times with cash and jewellery inside, and everything was always exactly as we had left it. The beach is fantastic, with warm, crystal-clear water, and we loved that paddleboards and kayaks are complimentary. There are also many free activities such as beginner boxing classes and yoga, which was a wonderful touch. The service deserves 11/10. Every single member of the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Of course, like any hotel, there were tiny imperfections—for example, sometimes the buggy took a little longer than expected—but the staff were always so kind and attentive that it never became an issue. A special thank you to Fern, who made our stay unforgettable. She took care of every little detail, organized everything perfectly, and always made us feel truly valued. We are also very grateful to Charlene and Doing at the spa for their outstanding massages and their kindness. The spa is expensive, but absolutely worth it—the treatments are among the best we’ve experienced. When we arrived, we weren’t happy with the view from our villa. We mentioned it, and by the very next day the team had found a solution and upgraded us. The room change was handled effortlessly and professionally. This level of customer care really impressed us. The breakfast was excellent, although it can get a little busy during peak season—which is understandable. Dinner at Saffron was simply outstanding, without a doubt the best food we have had since arriving in Thailand. The beachfront restaurant was pleasant but much more casual and family-oriented. Since the prices are very similar to Saffron, we found Saffron to offer much better value. Every evening we came back to lovely little surprises, such as a bracelet or a keyring, together with scented candles prepared in the villa before bedtime. These thoughtful details made us feel incredibly welcome. We also appreciated meeting the General Manager during breakfast almost every morning. He took the time to speak with guests personally, ask about their stay, and make sure everyone was happy. It was clear that he genuinely cared about the guest experience. During our stay, the hotel even organized a special event to watch the Spain vs. Argentina World Cup final together, which created a fantastic ambiente. The guests were a nice mix of honeymooners, families, and couples from different countries, creating a relaxed and international atmosphere. Finally, we would like to thank the entire team. Unfortunately, we can’t remember everyone’s names, but every single member of staff we met was fantastic. From housekeeping and the buggy drivers to the restaurant teams and everyone working behind the scenes, everyone greeted us with genuine warmth and a smile. It is clear that exceptional hospitality is part of the culture at Banyan Tree Samui. Thank you to the entire Banyan Tree Team and we will definitely be back."

From the stunning property and outstanding food to the facilities and, above all, the service, the hotel has set a new standard for luxury hospitality. When it started raining, the staff brought our clothes in from the outdoor area to our room without us even asking. They even folded the clothes that had been left outside. Throughout our stay, everyone showed incredible care and attention to our baby, Leo. I would especially like to recognize a staff member named **Bumbim**. She was kind, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. She even offered to look after our baby free of charge while my wife and I enjoyed the Rainforest experience at the spa. She was warm, empathetic, genuinely caring, and provided truly outstanding service. Without a doubt, we will return to this hotel. Our stay was exceptional in every way."
