"I don't even know where to start. Our experience with Mandarin Oriental across both Dubai properties set a completely new standard for what luxury hospitality should be. It began at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, where the manager was simply outstanding. The stay, the service, the amenities: all incomparable. He personally recommended we visit Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah, and that turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. At Jumeirah, Jamshid looked after us from the moment we arrived, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. We have stayed at the Four Seasons, Marsa Al Arab, and plenty of other 5 and 7 star hotels, and Mandarin exceeded every expectation we had. The pool team deserves a special mention. Suraj, Rahul, and more than five staff members were attending to every single need. They sprayed us down with cold water in the heat, cleaned our sunglasses between dips, and brought our orders within seconds of asking. The food was fantastic (the calamari especially), and the complimentary ice creams and drinks were a lovely touch. Every member of staff remembered our names. This is hands down the number one team I have ever encountered at any resort. The pool, the towels, the facilities: everything was immaculate, and they genuinely take care of you in every possible way. A huge thank you and heartfelt appreciation to Durga Paudel and Jamshid, and to the entire team. We will absolutely be back."
