"First time staying at a St Regis, as I never looked at it as a premiere 5-star hotel, such as a Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental. Upon reflecting on our 2 night stay, I can't really say there was anything memorable or special about the hotel as its really more like a 4.5 star property. Two small issues arose. Enjoyed the small but beautiful infinity pool on the 3rd floor. Being that its warm or hot in Dubai pretty much all tear, I found it odd that there was no water available at the pool. Had to ask the lifeguard if there was cold water anywhere and he headed to the back to provide a bottle. Not sure why the water is "hidden" or readily available but that is a management issue. Earlier in the day, had a forgettable breakfast as I walked out after waiting almost 30 minutes for eggs, and never ate!. (And this was 15 minutes AFTER a Manager walked over and asked how things were and said he would find out what was taking so long.) Surprisingly when I tracked him down before walking out, he made some excuse that the server forgot to put in the order. I asked him what exactly he had "handled" since coming over to the table earlier and all I got was the useless apology and more excuses. The hotel itself is downtown and not too far from the Dubai Mall and close to many restaurants as well. Unfortunately I would not come back as the 2 issues mentioned are the result of Management not knowing how to resolve a simple restaurant problem or something as silly as not knowing (or wanting) to provide water at the pool, without having to hunt someone down ."

"I spend about 200 days on the road each year. Good service and quality hospitality are really important to me. This hotel had an absolute ideal combination of being understated, being entertaining and being relaxing all at the same time. The tea room and the restaurant were wonderful. The breakfast service was absolutely amazing. The front staff was equally impressive. The Butler service was amazing. I always write honest reviewsso I will say that they forgot to refill my coffee mugs two mornings in a row. That’s what normally make me very upset. However, the service and experience of this hotel overall was so amazing and it was easy to overlook. I tend to be a very finicky traveler.You could select this hotel with your eyes closed and you’ll have an amazing day."

"It’s rare when I write a public review, but this experience at the St Regis Downtown Dubai was beyond words. From an excellent check-in and check-out with Indah and her front desk colleagues (too many to name here), a beautiful bar with stellar Nathan, a fabulous butler experience with Atif and smiling greetings at the main entrance from George and his team, I feel incredibly spoiled! The amazing team was only complemented by an excellent concierge staff and a butler team via WhatsApp that respond quickly to every need. Kudos to GM Saurav Puri and the St Regis collective on enchanting guests at this beautiful hotel. It’s my go-to when I visit Dubai next!"
