PB hotel design editorial

That sinuous white tower on Dubai Marina's waterfront — its facade traced by a single sweeping curve that rises from podium to crown like a drawn bow — is among the more sculpturally assertive gestures on a skyline that has never suffered from understatement. W Dubai Mina Seyahi inhabits the tower's 31 floors with 318 rooms and suites, the building's fluid form designed to maximize the Gulf views that define the property's entire commercial proposition. At night, the illuminated outline glows against the marina's neon-threaded darkness, the Ain Dubai observation wheel framed in the middle distance like a punctuation mark. Inside, the interiors navigate the familiar W tension between global brand energy and local cultural inflection with more texture than most. Guest rooms layer warm oak flooring and fluted ivory headboards against bursts of crimson — hand-knotted medallion rugs, blown-glass pendant lanterns with Moroccan geometry, and circular artworks in deep navy and red that carry clear references to Arabic calligraphic tradition. Higher-category suites introduce herringbone-patterned timber screens and kilim-influenced cushions alongside floor-to-ceiling glass angled directly at the Palm. The rooftop pool deck, shaded by mature ficus trees and furnished with brass-legged daybeds, captures the Ain Dubai on the western horizon at dusk, while the uppermost bar terrace — wrapped in dark concrete and rattan seating — frames the same view with a distinctly cooler hand.

"The worst front desk service I have ever seen in Dubai. I’m waiting in the line for +1 hr just to check-in. The entire stay is meaningless now. I wished for better exprience for my wife and my kids."

"All inclusive/All access package starts at 3pm check in and finishes 12pm check out. This means NO LUNCH any time and NO ALCOHOL on checkout day meaning its not technically all inclusive so just be aware. Its half board with alcohol for 8 hours (3pm to 11pm). For the price and quality this is amazing value for money and we will come back, just be aware of the all inclusive restrictions. Hotel, facilities, room, staff, service, restaurants, food, quality was unbelievable and amazing, there is no contest here i was very impressed thank you to everyone for a superb stay!"

"Wow, what can we say! Incredible effort from all the W Mina Seyahi team to make our stay a total pleasure, during an interesting situation. We felt safe, looked after and can honestly say everyone pulled together to make it an unforgettable stay. We were all-inclusive (including drinks) at the W, but we could use the facilities at Le Meridien and The Westin next door too. The staff there were also amazing. Despite everything going on regionally, it just felt like a normal holiday. If anything - being asked to stay local - actually helped as we used every facility, restaurant, Iftar, brunch, pool, beach and bar on site, including the places not part of the all-inclusive deal. Special thanks go to all of these amazing people: Ginger Moon/Wet Deck: Sky (Da Boss), Jordi, Lakmal, Rama, Rahul, Rafli, Oded, Fouad & Ravi. And all the rest of the team. 10/10 for keeping it all together perfectly. And give all these people medals. Farrago: Easy, Progress, Andre, & the lovely Asian girl. Such a pleasant team with ace cocktails. Front Door: Chris, Jacob & the Team. First class guys. Room Attendants/Stylists: Thennogasu, Mahbub, Pappu. Nothing was too much hassle. And a special thanks to the coolest bosses, for checking on us multiple times daily: Vijay & Raj. Westin Special Mention: Shanaka & Sebastian at Sui Mui. Gareth (Baba) & Raymond (El Sur). A total pleasure meeting you. And massive thanks to the Complex Ops Manager Anthony, for the beers in Barasti! We're owe you one. The W is a very special hotel and always will be. We shall be back, every time we get a chance. With friends. Until September, goodbye and thank you to the best bunch of staff humanly possible to have in one place. ❤️"

"We originally planned a short stay at the W hotel for 5 nights. Due to the regional conflict which started on 1st March, and our flights being rebooked and cancelled 5 times, we ended up spending 13 nights there. Throughout this unsettling time the staff were extremely professional and caring, couldn’t do enough for us and always had a smile on their faces. We felt extremely safe and decided to continue enjoying the facilities for the duration of our stay. We went to the beach daily, visited the water park, and went for drinks at Attiko, the rooftop bar with amazing views. In fact, despite being extremely relieved when we managed to get onto a confirmed flight, we felt very sad to leave. The hotel was gradually becoming deserted and it reminded me of Covid times. The people of Dubai do not deserve this so we will definitely be back in the future and will most likely stay at the W."

"If I said our stay at W Hotel was good, I’d be lying - it was outstanding in every possible way. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Moussa and the whole team - housekeeping, the breakfast crew, the experience team, and everyone we met - were warm, professional, and helpful in every way. Since we stayed for 2.5 months, we had plenty of time to find something to be critical about… but truly, there was none. Moussa and the team consistently went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was amazing: a huge variety at the buffet, consistently fresh quality, and staff who were always friendly, attentive, and impressively fast. We stayed in a water-view suite, and waking up to that view every morning was such a pleasure - a small daily moment that never got old. A special mention to the experience team as well: they surprised me with the loveliest cake and balloons on my birthday, and even without any special occasion they would send the most beautiful flower bouquet you can imagine. Those details made a big difference. Overall, it truly felt like a home away from home. We almost left disappointed - not because of anything negative, but because we knew we’d miss the location, the hospitality, the room, and the food. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We’re fans of W Hotel for life, and we’ll wholeheartedly recommend it to any friends coming to Dubai. Lisa and Roman"
