Inside, the interiors balance competing registers with reasonable dexterity. Guest rooms deploy raised-panel wall moldings in cream against dark fluted headboards and a graphic plaid carpet in charcoal and tan, the combination landing somewhere between a renovated grand hotel and a sharp independent property — burnished walnut desks paired with Breuer-style cantilever chairs giving the workspaces a midcentury inflection.
