Fourteen floors of white-rendered concrete rise above the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the arched uppermost windows and continuous ribbon balconies of the original 1971 structure giving the Cameo Beverly Hills its particular midcentury silhouette — part resort tower, part Riviera fantasy, transplanted to the most commercially charged intersection in Los Angeles. The interiors navigate two distinct registers simultaneously. Commune with the suites draws on a lacquered macassar ebony headboard wall, dark-stained hardwood floors, tufted red leather benches, and black club chairs with nailhead trim — a palette that carries the feeling of a well-appointed Hollywood private club from the studio era, reinforced by large-format black-and-white photography of old Los Angeles on the walls. The bar advances the same idea: floor-to-ceiling macassar paneling, a long counter with illuminated fluting at its base, and a row of red leather stools on polished chrome frames that place the room firmly in the tradition of the great Art Deco hotel bars of the 1930s. Lighter rooms shift toward cream tufted headboards, mirrored and chrome nightstands, and wide French doors opening across the Beverly Hills roofline. The outdoor dining terrace, shaded by a stretched canvas awning and furnished with teak director's chairs in crimson canvas, brings a relaxed California ease to a property that otherwise leans deliberately toward old-world glamour.

"Hotel is ok - although rooms can be noisy since one hears the constant banging of other rooms’ doors either from hotel staff or guests. The breakfast credit at USD 25 per person per day for diamond and gold card holders is a complete joke - an orange juice and a salmon bagel is USD 54. Street parking is free to avoid the rip off valet. Pool is minute so don’t expect much more than a cooling plunge."

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Cameo Beverly Hills. Located in the heart of Beverly Hills. The location is perfect. The atmosphere is very upscale but still cozy. The suite was amazing.The living room and bed room were so spacious and beautiful. Perfect for a family of 4 or a romantic getaway for 2. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Definitely great value for the price. The hotel and its amenities are well keep and spotless. Great sound deadening to keep any ambient sound out for a very restful stay. Rain, at the front desk provided unbeatable customer service. She answered every question and really made us feel at home. She provided very personal service and went out of her way to make sure we had the best possible experience from check in to check out. Top notch. Definitely highly recommended. Would definitely stay there again and again."

"This is a lovely place to stay. I think they did a nice job with the renovation. New furniture. Nice balconies. New lobby. Front desk staff is courteous. We were greeted with a glass of champagne upon check-in. Rainfall shower is vigorous with great pressure. If your room is overlooking West Pico, it can be a little noisy due to street traffic. (The other side is quieter. ) We enjoyed breakfast at Zampo. It was already a lovely place to stay before the renovation, and I do like it even more now."

"Outstanding service and value 15 minutes walk away from Rodeo Drive. I was pleasantly surprised to see a hotel in the US with receptionists helping with your luggage, welcome gifts, and doorman helping you with the door. The room was airy and bright, with modern appliances such as smart TV and a brilliant view of Beverly Hills. The breakfast was unmissable. I had a lobster benedict and my girlfriend had the American breakfast, alongside coffee and juice. The bill was $117 minus the $50 F&B credits including 20% tips and tax. Very reasonable for a hotel breakfast of such calibre."
