"On prem as i write. worn and tired. and dirty. what a shame. check the pics. we used to stay here all the time - quiet side of the tower, away from the nightclub, higher floor. consistent product and service. clean. responsive. helpful. genuinely interested in the guest experience. now, it’s just sad. both the service and the product. requested high room, quiet, non adjoining. received low room, loud and adjoining. yeah sure i know its not guaranteed but really, why bother asking? requested feather pillows. received foam. promised a 3 pm checkin when we arrived, checked in at 410. no joke we were attacked when asking if the room was ready around 2! “did you receive a call!? we’ll CALL you by 3!” of course they didnt. have requested some cleaning, we’ll see. and you can tell the employees are trying but the management doesn’t have their backs. i’m guessing it’s a revenue thing at fairmont and the property is rotting for it. ah well, FIG is still nice. but do yourself a favor and book the Proper. same price range. miles ahead."
