"Our stay at the Carneros Resort was a total joy. We loved our private little cottage. The breakfast was memorable with delicious buffet and view of the surrounding hills and vineyards...and gorgeous large pool. The entire property seems like a botanic garden with many species represented in beautiful color. There are vegetables and herbs growing everywhere, and served up in the dining rooms. There is something for everyone...spa, pools, bocce ball, pickleball, live music, restaurants, excellent service and so on. The location is excellent for exploring both the Napa Valley and the Sonoma Wine Country. We will return!!"

"I am currently on property staying here and we are so disappointed. If you’re looking at this place, you’re likely aware it isn’t cheap. The rates run the same as some never five stars in the area. We decided on Carneros, since it had the private cottages and outdoor area. Like many have said, check-in was hectic. The line was long, but it did move fast. That being said, it felt rushed and we didn’t fell well-informed about the place in general. When arriving to our room, we found no had towels. We texted for some and after dinner found that more bath towels had been delivered. We also asked that the floor be cleaned. It had sticky stains right near the fireplace. Those were not cleaned. The outdoor shower had spider webs and the patio furniture was covered in leaves. Day two housekeeping did not leave washcloths. We texted the line they gave us and after an hour, I called. When the lady showed up, she had napkins. This was super frustrating. The room is also needing service. One of the lamps flicker when dimmed. The door to the mini fridge is hanging off, the shower door to outside has scum all over it and the curtains are literally hanging on by a thread. Also, there is a container for bath salts, but none provided. I left the lid off, hoping they’d refill, but no luck. I’ve wanted to stay here for years, but I wish we would have chosen elsewhere."

"We planned an Easter getaway hoping for a little sunshine and some quality Family time. We chose the Carneros Resort for a quick 2 night/3 day stay. We were greeted with smiles and glasses of wine. Kiri, Director of Front Office, assisted in checking us in and welcoming us back. Her demeanor and wonderful South African accent immediately made us feel at home. She acknowledged us as returning guests, took care of our advance requests and offered an upgraded room for our short stay. The room we were assigned had both an indoor tub, as well as an outdoor one. The indoor tub perfect for the wife and the outdoor tub, surprisingly enjoyable for our teenager. During our stay, we made use of the adult pool (Hilltop), while our son utilized the well-equipped fitness facility. Although no formal running trails on property, there is a 9 mile out and back route that takes your run along some magnificent wineries. We highly recommend a visit and stay at this wonderful resort."

"We had the most wonderful girls’ weekend at Carneros Resort and Spa, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the entire property felt peaceful, luxurious, and welcoming — the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway with friends. The cottages were beautiful and private, the grounds were stunning, and every staff member we encountered was warm and attentive. We enjoyed lunch at the Market, wine tasting at Post, and dinner at Farm. I highly recommend dining on property. All three experiences were five stars and exceeded our expectations. One of the most thoughtful touches happened when we arrived at our room and found a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us, along with a kind note from Managing Director Edward Costa. It was such a generous surprise and meant so much because we were celebrating our friend before she undergoes hip replacement surgery at the end of the month. That level of personal care and attention made the weekend feel even more special. Thank you to Mr. Costa and the entire team at Carneros Resort and Spa for helping make this girls’ getaway so memorable. We felt so well taken care of and can’t wait to come back!"
