"Stayed over July 4th. In a superior room, window view of skyline and harbor, very impressive cityscape that we saw day and night. Rooms were nicely furnished, bed outstanding. TV on far right wall that was hard to watch from bed, bed, but hey, in front of the bed were those windows, so options for tv placement were limited. Tub with shower although shower was small. Water pressure excellent. As far as service, not a single glitch to complain about, and I love to complain in these reviews. The restaurant food, MKT, was over prepared, I would eat elsewhere. There are many SF options close by at MKT prices. Small things like free in-room coffee. Don’t use the bar or food. I paid 10 dollars for 1 Kind bar. My bad. Hotel location near everything including SF MOMA which is a must see. A great 5 star option in SF option even considering the price."

"If possible, I’d give this hotel 6 stars. A terrific experience end-to-end. Been awhile since last visit but doorman remembered us. Check in was fast and easy. Room was spotless, maintained 2x daily by thorough housekeeping team [don’t forget to tip the hardest working folks in the hotel  ] Bathroom has a tub, shower stall, 2 sinks and separate toilet room. Water pressure is full so showers are quick. Mini bar with pod coffee maker. Very quiet despite center city location- we slept like babies. Plenty of outlets and a charging cord for your use while there. MKT restaurant is consistently good. Climate control is simple and works well in San Francisco's unpredictable weather. Every morning they stock complimentary coffee & tea station in the lobby with rotating muffins assortment. First night I went to the attached Equinox’s hot water dispenser to make herbal tea; then we realized they also offer complimentary tea nightly. One of the hotel’s best perks is free access to huge Equinox Sports Club downstairs. Equinox’s 3 floors offer weights, every machine you could imagine from ellipticals and treadmills to Soulcycles & stairmasters, 25 yard salt water lap pool, spa, steam room, sauna, the works. Bellman came right up to get our luggage when we called. Check out was fast and easy, bill was spot on accurate."

"We stayed at the San Francisco Market Street One and had two rooms one for me and one for my son's family with a 16-month-old baby. We had a chef's table dinner with wine pairings. The food was good but tiny. And the wine was disproportionately a lot for the tiny dishes, my daughter-in-law got sick because there was not enough food and too much wine. I ordered a welcome package for both rooms and VIP fruits were standard apples and pears, grapes not other fruits which was disappointing. For my son’s room cheese platter was standard. Nothing special. Both the VIP fruits and cheese platter were expensive. I was expecting a bit more classy for 4 seasons. I would have expected a bit more upscale sheets and bathrobes. The bathrobes and towels were old. Nothing in the room was new! To get a 5-star room and service should be outstanding, unfortunately, it wasn't. I hope next time I am at Four Seasons the room will be better."
