"**Disappointing Stay—Not Worth the Price** I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from beginning to end. There was nothing about this stay that would make me want to return or recommend it to others. The guest room felt outdated, dark, and in need of a major refresh. Cleanliness was also a concern. The area around the toilet clearly had not been cleaned properly, which immediately raised questions about the overall housekeeping standards. We also dined at Elway's restaurant, and that experience was equally disappointing. There was a large group—at least 10 people—who were extremely loud, visibly intoxicated, and repeatedly using profanity throughout their meal. While I understand restaurants want to accommodate all guests, the staff made no effort to address the disruptive behavior. Several families with children were dining nearby, and many guests appeared uncomfortable and frustrated. To make matters worse, the food itself was mediocre and certainly not worth the price. The spa experience was another letdown. I expected a relaxing, professional massage, but instead received what felt like a rushed service. The therapist spent much of the appointment talking about herself rather than focusing on the treatment. I've had far better massages at Massage Envy for a fraction of the cost. Overall, this hotel did not deliver the level of quality, cleanliness, service, or value I expect. Between the outdated accommodations, disappointing dining experience, and underwhelming spa, I left feeling that my money would have been much better spent elsewhere. I would not return and cannot recommend this property."

"The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, is a great hotel in downtown Denver, within a 15-minute walk of Union Station, and we had the opportunity to visit again after so many years. What makes this place special are the people who work here and go above and beyond to make every guest feel extra special. In an effort to celebrate my birthday before a business trip, I was able to plan different details in advance that enhanced our experience during the stay. Prior to arrival, I was able to work via email with the team as soon as I was contacted, sharing details regarding arrival, departure, special occasion, and learning more about the amenities and options available. This helped tremendously, and I am extremely thankful to both Guest Services and all Ladies & Gentlemen of the Club Level. Upon arrival, even though the room was not ready, Sophia helped us to get to the Club Lounge while we waited for our room to be ready. The Club Lounge is managed by Julie, and she is amazing. She thinks about the small details that make a stay memorable and considers everything you can think of to make sure every detail is taken care of. Even Pasha, Nieve, and other team members were truly professional and willing to extend a helping hand as needed. The lounge is located on the 12th floor and has at least four to five different meal presentations during the day, where you can have a drink and light snacks as you see fit. Even though there were a few hiccups, such as a water shortage during a weekday from 10 - 2 pm without notice and housekeeping not being able to clean the room a few times, the Ladies and Gentlemen at the Denver location found a way to successfully complete service recovery. We either went to the spa for a quick shower when that water incident happened or had the front desk contact housekeeping to service the room either in turndown service or as soon as possible. In addition, their restaurant Elway's has great drinks, such as the freezer margarita, and the service was great. The spa team was also top-notch and truly accommodating during our short visit. The spa has a jacuzzi and sauna with a relaxation room, and meets the needs for a relaxing visit. Overall, it is worth visiting and booking a service in advance when coming or staying on the property. Finally, special thanks to Sophia at the front desk, Julie in the Club Lounge for going above and beyond prior to and during our stay, and finally Pasha and Nieve at the Club Lounge for always having a smile, being willing to help, and being attentive to our needs at every single level. I will make sure to return in the near future and continue my loyalty with such an amazing hotel brand name."

"Although an older property, the Ritz Carlton continues to live up to its name with clean, comfortable rooms and excellent service. The hotel is conveniently located for walking to the 16th Street Mall, Coors Field, and downtown Denver. Throughout our stay, everyone provided Ritz-level service, from reception, to the valet team (who were always quick with our car), to the restaurant staff. The team always greeted us by name and proactively anticipated our needs, like giving water bottles when we returned from being out walking. We had a two queen room, which was spacious and had a sitting lounge in addition to the beds. The spotless bathroom has both a large tub and walk-in shower. For dining, Elways offers a great meal. The prime rib sandwich and filet were both loved at our table. Thanks to the staff who gave us a desert on the house to round out a wonderful meal. Although there have been many new hotels opened in Denver and LoDo in the recent years, the Ritz Carlton continues to hold its own. I will happily return again."

"The Ritz lives and dies on service and unexpected (but....let's be honest 'expected') touches. The Denver presentation is a miss. Nice room? Yes. But...is anyone staying at a Ritz and thinking...clean bed? That's a win! If you are looking for a place to sleep you absolutely will be satisfied by the Denver Ritz. If you're looking for a bit "more" I don't know...you better temper those expectations. The hotel is fine, the hotel is clean...but it is 100% not what you are expecting, especially in comparison to the Bacara or heck even the LA version (another good....but who is looking for "good" when staying at such a superlative name). The biggest complaint...you really do not have an on-property dining option. This is a tower fronting as a luxury hotel. It's fine, but man....if this was your single experience of a Ritz you certainly would not be coming back. Denver, you could probably do without a Ritz rather than having a bottom of the barrel expression of the name."
