"We just returned from another wonderful stay at the Mayflower, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. We make it a point to visit every year for a night or two, and it has become one of our favorite traditions. One of the things we love most is that our pup, Mickey, is welcome to join us. The property is beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for a dog-friendly getaway. The spa is absolutely amazing and always leaves us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The service is exceptional. The waitstaff is attentive, friendly, and somehow always remembers us from previous visits, which makes each stay feel extra special. The food is consistently delicious, and the cocktails are fantastic. For us, the Mayflower is the perfect staycation—a peaceful escape that feels worlds away while still being close to home. We can't wait to return again next year for our stay, if not sooner. We will definitely be back at the restaurant even sooner."

"An Exceptional Local Sanctuary As locals with deep family roots in the area, we have a profound appreciation for New England hospitality, and the Mayflower Inn and Spa absolutely blew us away. The team incorporated beautiful, intentional local touches that made the experience feel incredibly personal and grounded. The service here is flawless—the staff consistently went over and above to accommodate our detailed needs with grace and warmth. There is a palpable "if you need it, it’s already there" philosophy woven into the entire stay. The expansive, ancient grounds provide a spectacular backdrop for a restorative getaway, and the wellness center is a true sanctuary. Combined with delicious dining, it was a perfect experience. We are incredibly fortunate to have a world-class retreat like this right in our backyard."

"Disappointing changes to the spa policy. Family members and I would go to the Mayflower for massages and spa treatments over time (its been a while since we stayed over night) and were able to also use the indoor pool, hot tub and steam room while we were there. Not now! I just called to book three massages. You cannot use those amenities unless you pay an extra $700 on top of your massage cost. So what was included for free before is now quite costly. In addition you can only spend 30 minutes relaxing in the relaxation room after your treatment when before there was no limit. Wow, disappointing. Were these changes to boost spa revenue? You can do better Auberge! (I am writing this from my past experiences and my experience in calling to book now)"

"Beautiful grounds and very friendly, lovely people. Spa treatments were wonderful. The room was over priced for being in need of updates. The carpet had stains, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, bare minimum in the bathroom- no shampoo or conditioner, old bed frame that was scratched and had marker on it. Unfortunately stayed near a newborn crying baby on one side and someone with an active marijuana habit that had the smoke lingering outside of our door. Very odd billing system with many daily fees and after visit charges that were not explained. Overall, I would use the spa again but would find any other place/air bnb nearby to stay in the future without a crying newborn, marijuana smoke and a nicer room for well over $2,400 a night."
