"We have been coming to this hotel for 3 years now. The service is great throughout the hotel from the valet to the front desk staff. Also, I have food allergies and Celiac and the Sakura Club has accommodated my dietary needs every time. A special thank you to Tom who I have seen in the Sakura club every year and he is always happy to assist with our needs and is the ultimate professional. The super sweet lady in the Sakura club who makes me a lovely oat milk latte every year is so amazing too! Thank you and can’t wait to see you next visit!!!"

"While this property once defined consistent excellence, ​as a loyal, returning guest, I have noticed a significant decline in the standard of service and attention to detail. The front office experience currently lacks warmth, with staff often prioritizing a "no can do" attitude over finding solutions. At a luxury property, basic requests regarding room location to avoid traffic noise, pillow preferences, and extra water should be standard execution. It feels as though the focus has shifted toward filling occupancy through large meetings (mini convention hotel) rather than investing in a seamless experience for individual guests. However, there are still exceptional teams doing commendable work. The service at Estuary (Carmen), the Estuary Bar (Arsène, Cory, and Betty), and from the sommelier, Neil, remains a highlight. Additionally, the housekeeping staff does a laudable job maintaining a high level of cleanliness. Given its prime location in CityCenter, the Conrad Washington DC has the potential to be a shining star​ in the city by bringing excellence back into its operations from pre-arrival through departure. Once a Forbes 4-star property, this commitment to superior service (the soft product) has materially declined."

"We stayed at the Conrad on the Sakura Club level twice this summer when we were helping our son find a condo and then move into the condo. The Sakura Club was perfect for us-we knew we had a spot to always get dinner and some snacks if we were busy. The food is all fresh and delicious. I had breakfast every day with fresh berries/yogurt and an array of hot dishes. Beyond how tasty and ample the food choices, the staff at the Sakura club are so friendly and warm-I was sad when it was time for us to check out. I will only stay here when I go back to DC. I recommend you do the same!"

"It was a very lovely hotel, very clean, great service, and the check-in staff was superb with their suggestions. Their main restaurant was called the Estuary and was given rave reviews for their brunch menu but overall I found it kind of... meh, its hotel food, but there are plenty of restaurants around that you can walk to and enjoy. They have a rooftop bar/restaurant that is also available to enjoy in the evening. Overall it was a great stay in a solid hotel."
