"Don’t expect to watch any televised NFL, NBA or any other games on NBC. We were excited as a family to watch a championship NBA game on NBC during our stay as the channel guide card in the room notes they offer NBC. However, NBC doesn’t exist. And paying up to 800.00 a night doesn’t allow you to cast to the tv either. I talked to the manager on duty - basically told me nothing they could do as it’s not in their service contract with Dish Network. I asked why the card in the room advertises that they have the channel - I told her it was poor marketing… she said nothing she can do. She sent engineering up to verify that there is nothing that can be done. He said so many guests complain about this year round with nfl and nba games and they won’t update the TVs to allow casting no matter how many complaints. He said I won’t be the last guest to complain about this for sure as it’s a constant problem. Poor customer service management technique as well from the manager on duty. Just basically that they can’t do anything about it. You would think a “luxury” hotel would have updated TVs in this tech world. Disappointed to say the least."

"The rooms and facilities were beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. I was particularly impressed with the beach staff. Arthur, Josh, Jacob, and Pyper went above and beyond to insure we were taken care of. They are hard working and personable. Excellent vacation!"

"My boyfriend and I have stayed at this resort twice and it was amazing each time. We got a room with a beach view and it was absolutely stunning. The walk to the private beach is so easy and is very calm compared to other parts of Destin beaches. The spa is also wonderful, and truly the best spa I have ever been to. I recommend coming early so you can use all the amenities (steam room, jacuzzi, lavender room, etc.). It is open to you all day if you purchase a spa package. My massage therapist, Liz was fabulous. I didn’t think it could’ve gotten any better from the first time, but she proved me wrong. Also, not something people specifically look for in a hotel, but it smells AMAZING. I don’t know what scent they use to diffuse through the hotel but I want it for my home lol. The Henderson is a bit pricy compared to other stays in Destin but it is worth it in my opinion."
