"Magic in the Keys. A retreat, sckuded yet accessible. I hate to write this review, because I want to be able to go back, and don't want it too crowded to do so. It is a retreat of intimate luxury, where every need is taken care of. It is not cheap, but you want for nothing. LOVE!!!"

"If you are going to this resort for a beautiful beach, as pictured on website, you will be disappointed. If you enjoy lounging and soaking at a relatively small pool this is what you are in store for. Given the high price for accommodations I expected much more. The rooms a very dated , worn and extremely dark. All the furniture and woodwork in the room is made of dark wood and dark fabric colors. The people who work at the resort are its saving grace. Everyone was lovely and attentive. The food was a solid B to B+ depending upon the dish. The air conditioning was broken in the main dining room making dinner quite uncomfortable. On our last day, a boat with guests was allowed to dock. Once they came to the pool area the pool was crowded to the point of bumping into other guests. The chairs were all occupied. At full capacity there are only enough chairs at the pool to accommodate half the guests. That is why at check in you are told pool and beach seats are first come first served. There is a no cell phone policy around the resort making it peaceful. However, the large boat that had come in the last day was docked outside our room and was playing loud disco music at 10:00pm. The beach is tiny. It also has a limited amount of chairs. There is a lot of seaweed. If you walk out more than 8-10 feet the sand under foot becomes muddy. Be aware there are sharks and barracuda in the water. My husband is a fisherman and caught both off the dock. Unfortunately this is one and done experience."

"If you ever get the chance to go to Little Palm Island - GO! Dan McElroy really outdid himself by taking me for four nights for my 70th birthday. We had bungalow 18 which had a dock on the water, a sand beach with two chairs and a gas fire pit that came on automatically every evening, a huge deck with surrounding curtains for privacy with a daybed, copper tub for 2 and outdoor shower. Then we had a living room stocked with snacks and a fridge packed with fancy waters and a separate bedroom with a luxuriously appointed super tall four poster king bed under a gorgeous cathedral ceiling. The attention to detail and customer service was amazing. The best we have ever experienced. Every staff member greeted us with genuine smiles and enthusiasm. The food was stunning in presentation as well as super fresh and delicious. Our server Doude was exceptional! He had my favorite watermelon juice waiting for me every time I sat down! In addition he served us our room service breakfast perfectly!! The pool area cabanas are commanded by Rolando with such great fun! Kayaks, cocktails, key deer- you name it and he will make sure that you’re taken care of. The island is magical with manatees swimming by, fish jumping, birds singing and key deer giving you the sweetest vibes you can imagine. I had some organic apples and was lucky enough to share. A bucket list check off for sure. There are no tvs and you won’t even notice. The sunset will take your breath away. And as times slows down, you realize that you are in the middle of the very best time of your life… so far! Thank you Alessandra Hally for recommending this beautiful piece of paradise!"

I had always heard it was something special, but you don’t fully understand just how extraordinary it is until you visit. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like long lost friends returning home. We stayed in the Island Romance Suite, which was its own slice of paradise. The fluffy robes, the outdoor soaking tub, and the beautiful fire glowing beneath a brilliant evening sky full of stars created moments that felt almost magical. It was peaceful, luxurious, and designed to help you slow down and savor every moment. Little Palm Island is more than a resort it’s an experience. If you ever have the opportunity to visit, make sure to go. It is something we will always cherish, and truly one of the best places we have ever stayed."

"The island is amazing, a little gem on the Keys . Whilst I didn’t see any management ) other than the F&B manager) the general staff are wonderful and helpful . The settling is magnificent. My negative is the room we stayed wasn't really private and it was one of the top tier rooms /suites they offer - room 5 - which sits below room 7. Unfortunately you can hear people moving around upstairs, and talking when they on the upstairs verandah etc. so hard to escape when you want to enjoy the stillness and tranquility . We unfortunately had night owls that went to bed at 2am so it really sounded like a small herd of elephants upstairs the whole night given the wooded floors between the suites thereby amplifying any noice. To LPI credit they did offer to move us however we had already settled and were only there 4 nights. So if you do want to opt for a better room/suite remember to ask for the one upstairs and not room 5."
