PB hotel design editorial

At 70 floors, the glass tower rising above Brickell Avenue was, at its 2003 completion, the tallest building in Florida — a distinction that gave the Four Seasons Hotel Miami an unusual brief: to make intimate hospitality legible within a structure whose primary identity is sheer vertical ambition. Arquitectonica, the Miami firm that has shaped much of the city's skyline, designed the mixed-use tower in collaboration with the hotel, which fills the lower floors while residences and office space claim the upper reaches. The curtain wall of reflective glass, visible in the images angled against a blue subtropical sky, carries the building's mass with the clean linearity typical of Arquitectonica's commercial work. The interiors, refreshed in recent years, pursue a warmth that counterbalances the tower's corporate scale. Guest rooms show a palette of cream, amber, and walnut — arched, ribbed headboards in ticking-stripe fabric mounted in bronze frames, saffron-toned custom rugs with abstracted botanical motifs, and branch-form floor lamps that bring an almost residential quietness to rooms with panoramic views over Biscayne Bay. The restaurant presents a different register entirely: fluted wall panels, arched mirror surrounds, herringbone hardwood floors, and moss-green velvet club chairs arranged around dark timber tables beneath cluster pendant lights. Below, a broad pool terrace lined with royal palms and white canvas umbrellas offers the one space where the tower's height recedes entirely and Miami's tropical light takes over.

"We stopped in for the night before heading out for our vacation. Unfortunately, we could really experience the entire hotel as our flight was delayed and we got to the hotel late evening. On our arrival, we were welcomed be friendly Valets, who guided us to check-in, the front dest staff absolutely brilliant professional and friendly. As we were so later we really wanted food, the front desk lady, escorted us to their restaurant (9:20pm), it was explained to us that the restaurant usually stops serving around 9:30/9:40pm. The restaurant hostess, also brilliant, sat us immediately. Now this is when our experience completely changes. Once sat we sat, we sat and we sat. Looking at the time we started to wonder if we would ever get served and if the kitchen has closed. Finally we had to ask a staff member for service. We placed our order, the food came extremely quickly, like we were being rushed. The food it's self was so disappointing. One for the dishes appeared to be burnt and or microwaved, the dumplings. The rest of the food a little above average. We left and finally headed to our room. The room it's self very clean bit warm all night, sheets and pillows ok mattress I have no commitments at all dreadful. What really got me was there was no coffee machine, no water in the room. I will say the breakfast was good. We have left this hotel and will definitely not be returning, which is probably a shame as we've stayed in 4 seasons in Europe quite a few times and had completely different experiences, it could be be or an American franchises way of doing things but for us, well be chilling at the Ritz in Miami from now on. Oh, have got an email from the hotel asking our review and or my bill as of yet."

"We’ve stayed at many Four Seasons properties over the years and have always been impressed by their consistently high standards. However, the Four Seasons Miami stood out in a way that made this particular stay feel truly exceptional. It was the genuine care, warmth, and extraordinary attention to detail that set it apart. The rooms were immaculate, with breathtaking views over the bay. The pool area was beautiful - stylish yet relaxed, offering the perfect family-friendly atmosphere. The dining was excellent throughout our stay, but dinner at Nuna was undoubtedly the highlight - easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We also loved the location. Almost everything we wanted to do was within a 30-minute Uber ride, and there was a fantastic selection of bars, restaurants, and shops just a short walk from the hotel. A special thank you to Ana and the entire team at the Four Seasons Miami. So many members of staff went out of their way to get to know us and make us feel genuinely welcome. We only wish we could remember all their names to thank them personally - their kindness and professionalism made our stay truly memorable. We can’t wait to return."

"Make this 25 characters I am honestly shocked and disappointed by my experience at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami: @fsmiami. I was checked into a room that was completely unclean — the toilet was in a disgusting condition, and the room was so messy I was in shock and couldn’t even record it. I was then asked to step out and leave my belongings so housekeeping could clean. When I returned, my belongings were gone. These were not just items — they included two years of my work: handmade designs, clothing, jewelry, accessories, and shoes. I reported this immediately and have made several attempts to resolve it, but my belongings have still not been returned. What made this worse was the lack of empathy and accountability. At checkout, instead of support or compensation, I was given additional charges. This experience was humiliating and deeply disappointing. I never expected this from a brand like Four Seasons. This was also my first vacation with my son, and part of this incident resulted in a hospital emergency, which made the entire situation even more distressing. These items are part of my business in the fashion industry, used for shows, samples, and rentals, which makes this loss even more significant. I have also involved the police regarding this matter. I am now considering legal action, as all efforts to resolve this privately have failed. If anyone has advice or has experienced something similar, I would appreciate your guidance. "The Four Seasons in Brickell proved to be a solid choice as a base to explore Miami. We like the brand and usually consider it when there's one in a city we visit. The property opened just over 20 years ago and has generally aged well with little patina, apart from some stains on the bright carpets. Why not 5/5? On the second day we reported a defect in our room, which remained unattended despite housekeeping confirming they'd look into it. A follow-up request went unanswered. Only when we contacted the front desk manager directly was the issue dealt with - and to our complete satisfaction. While everything turned out well, we would have preferred not having to escalate in the first place. That said, when we're back in Miami, we'll be back at the Four Seasons for sure."
