Martin Brudnizki's 2019 renovation of the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach posed a particular challenge: how do you refresh a property without erasing the very nostalgia that gives it character? His answer was a palette that feels less like a redesign than a memory — dusty rose headboards rising in tall vertical channels, terrazzo floors worn smooth as sea glass, coral lampshades printed with small botanical motifs, and walls washed in the softest pistachio. The effect, across 207 rooms in Leo Daly's low-slung four-story structure, is closer to a sun-bleached private club than a corporate resort. Striped tent ceilings in the bungalow-style rooms push the mid-century register further still, while teal leather benches and gilt-flecked wallcoverings add just enough glamour to keep the whole thing from feeling merely quaint. Outside, the six-acre beachfront grounds are arranged with the same unhurried confidence. Two pools step toward the Atlantic, flanked by teak-framed loungers and pagoda-roofed cabanas in cream canvas, while a terrace restaurant dines beneath a canopy of mature sea grape trees, their broad leaves filtering the light onto wicker chairs and sage-green tabletops. The landscape holds that slightly wild edge — native grasses and tropical planting pressing right up to the pool deck — that distinguishes a property genuinely connected to its site from one that simply faces the ocean. Opened in 1989, the resort has finally found an interior language equal to its setting.

"Nice property though nothing to write home about. Lovely view on balcony. Nice linens, etc, but I’ll never understand super thick down comforters in Florida! Way too hot! When I asked for non-down, they first brought another down comforter. They got it right second time but it was just as heavy. Room service food took longer than they said it would and was pretty disappointing. Soup was cold and had hardly any tortellini and was lacking salt. staff kept knocking to bring me ice when I hadn’t asked for it. Could have better soundproofing. I could hear baby next doors crying in the middle of the night. Overall, not worth the price in my opinion."

"I love the Four Seasons. I had a high school reunion there. The food drinks and atmosphere were terrific. This hotel is right on the beach, which is very relaxing to sit and have a drink."

"The hotel is old, was not built to be a Four Seasons Hotel. While it has been "updated" the quality of the construction is not good. I feels like a 3 star hotel/motel that has been updated by makeover TV show... The area surrounding the Hotel is nothing to write home about...1950's and 60's buildings. The hotel offers only one restaurant, which is good, but very far away from being great. If you want amazing food for half the price you need to drive 20 minutes to Palm Beach.. the restaurant closes @10:00 pm and the bar closes at 11:30 pm... there is a smaller outdoor restaurant that caters to the pool and beach which closes at 6:30 pm..... The staff is very polite, well trained and the best part of the hotel. The beds are comfortable and the linen is very good quality. The rooms are clean, but in the four days we stayed they did not vacuum the room. The bathrooms are average and toiletries are cheap, generic... All in all it is an extremely overpriced Marriott not a true Four Seasons like the one in Surfside....if you can choose stay at that property not this one.... This property should not charge over USD 600.00 per night... this is a USD 500.00 experience sold for USD 1,200.00...you do the math... I would recommend EAU 10x more, or Brazilian Courts, while not located on the beach, they have a beach service and complimentary boat cruise for USD 700.00 per night, and an amazing restaurant. For the same money, a much better option is The Breakers, the beach is not as good but the proximity to Palm Beach, the grandeur of the hotel and the quality of the crowd are in a mucch higher level...."

"Having just stayed in 12 luxury hotels (Bel Air, Peninsula Beverly Hills, Four Seasons Palm beach, Faena Miami beach, Waldorf Astoria Park city, W Aspen, St. Regis San Francisco, Waldorf Astoria Vegas, etc) around the USA, I have a fresh feel to review these hotels with great comparisons. This hotel is a true gem. We stayed here for 10 nights and it really became a home to us. The attention to individualized service from the staff was impeccable. They learn your names in a day or two, your preferences for breakfast seating and dining and by the pool. They also remember absurb things, like where we dined last night or where we went shopping 2 days ago, and ask for our comments on those, so they can learn even more about our preferences and provide even better suggestions. I mean its honestly absurb that someone from the hotel staff remembers where we dined and how we liked it after a few days. Even I myself would not perhaps remember those from my own experiences. I believe that sums up the level of service they provide on average. I believe I have never received more personalized and private service from any hotel ever before. I mean we never even had to say our name or room number when we went to any staff for any reason, they always already knew. The service was on par with Bel air, and better than on all the other mentionedntop hotels. The hotels location is also spot on. Palm beach is a great choice to avoid the heavy Miami traffic. You can still reach Miami or Fort Lauderdale quickly if needed, cause you could drive against the traffic. They have a private beach and nothing loud in the neighbours. Feels like being in Maldives at nights. The pool area is great, enough sunbeds for all, by the pool and by the sea. Staff at the pool brings you sunlotion, after sun and refreshments every other hour. The hotel is great also on all other parts, the lobby is quiet and private, no chance people not belonging there would be wondering around. The gym is great and big. The breakfast is also good, lots of variety, but the buffet is only available on weekends. The rooms are big, and look stunning. Perfect combination of the colorful Miami vibe with the luxurious minimalism. I would pay extra to have a sea view, it is stunning. The rooms with patio to the pool area do not really see anywhere so keep that in mind. Beds were standard Four seasons, very plush and nice. I would definitely recommend the hotel and I will for sure come back. This might even be my new favorite ”go-to” hotel for future."

"Beautiful and clean spa with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. I had an amazing massage with Stephanie—she is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to meet my needs. The lady in the locker room was also kind and attentive (I wish I remembered her name!). Overall, a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning."
