Completed in 2001, the property was developed as the centerpiece of a larger urban renewal effort along Sarasota Bay, its warm ochre facade, terracotta roof elements, and ornamental corner belvederes drawing on the Mediterranean Revival vocabulary that John Ringling helped establish across the city in the 1920s.
