Waddy B. Wood's 1923 Neoclassical Revival office tower on West Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta was never designed for hospitality — yet its limestone-and-terra-cotta facade and measured ten-story massing have given the Glenn Hotel, Autograph Collection a civic authority that purpose-built hotels in the city rarely achieve. Converted to hotel use in 2006 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008, the building received a multimillion-dollar interior overhaul completed in 2022 by Atlanta-based Sims Patrick Studio, which preserved the exterior's formal character while pushing the 110 guestrooms toward something warmer and more distinctly Southern in spirit. Inside, that spirit expresses itself through deep forest-green paneled walls, bold botanical-print drapery in amber and teal, leather-topped benches, wicker pendant lights, and dark-stained timber desks that carry a library-like ease without leaning into period pastiche. The palette is confident and specific: gold-framed artwork, plaid-woven carpet, and navy upholstery introduce color with genuine conviction. Glenn's Kitchen, the ground-floor restaurant, brings the same layered thinking to its dining room, where coffered ceilings, perforated brass pendant shades, tufted banquettes in teal and cognac leather, and dark-framed display cases above the pass create a room that manages both sociability and substance. Above it all, the Sky Lounge rooftop bar — rattan pendants strung beneath a slatted pergola, woven rope seating in terracotta and blush, floor-to-ceiling glazing framing the Atlanta skyline at golden hour — delivers the property's most persuasive argument for the city itself.

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Absolutely Exceptional Stay at The Glenn Hotel!!** When you think customer service like this may be a thing of the past, the team at the **Glenn Hotel, Autograph Collection** proves you wrong! A little bit of history that makes this place even more special — the Glenn Hotel originally wasn’t a hotel at all. It was the **Glenn Building**, an **office building constructed in 1923** in downtown Atlanta. It was later **renovated and beautifully converted into a boutique hotel in 2006**, becoming the Glenn Hotel we know today and now part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. You can truly feel that blend of historic character and modern luxury throughout the property. From the moment we arrived, starting with the gentleman in valet, my husband and I were treated like absolute royalty. Every single person we encountered was professional, kind, courteous, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and the entire experience felt incredibly personal. A **very special shout~out to Justice, Jade, Utari, and Page at the bar** — you all went above and beyond and made our stay truly unforgettable. Your hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed! We were so impressed that when checkout time came, we decided we simply **weren’t ready to leave and stayed another night** so we could enjoy a little more of this slice of heaven — especially the rooftop bar! This is what hospitality is supposed to feel like. The Glenn didn’t just give us a hotel room; **they gave us an experience we will remember.** Thank you to the entire Glenn Hotel team for making our Atlanta stay absolutely amazing. "Love love love this hotel. And bonus it’s a bonvoy Marriott. The staff is courteous and friendly. We got a king suite and it’s amazing…separate living quarters with extra tv. I like it better than the Omni next door, nice and quaint. Front desk was helpful with things to do"
