At 14 Drayton Street in Savannah's Historic District, a rusticated limestone base and dark brick upper floors signal a building that predates any hotel ambitions — the structure dates to the early twentieth century and carries the civic weight of that era's commercial architecture, its arched ground-floor windows and carved medallions giving the street presence of a minor government building. The Drayton Hotel, which joined Hilton's Curio Collection when it opened in 2021, was fitted into this existing shell with 68 rooms across five floors, the conversion preserving the facade's Beaux-Arts solidity while the interiors take a decisively warmer turn. Inside, the palette shifts from stone to sage. Guest rooms are painted in a deep muted green divided by a cream chair rail, warm-toned oak floors and arched wood headboards grounding the scheme against navy drapes and fringed bedside sconces on articulated black iron arms — a yellow velvet club chair providing the occasional chromatic jolt. The rooftop bar and social spaces move in a different direction entirely: the club lounge dressed in rattan wall paneling, terracotta tile, oversized globe pendants, and a boldly floral custom rug layered with cobalt and fuchsia seating, banana palms completing the conservatory-meets-Low-Country-veranda effect. The bar room above counters that exuberance with white shiplap ceilings, a Carrara marble counter, and cane-back bistro stools — a composed, almost Parisian register that keeps the whole from tipping into pastiche.

"Almost half the price of other “luxury” hotels, the accommodations are modern and clean. Rooms are very slightly smaller than other luxury hotels, but they have a roof top bar and companion restaurant (St. Neo's Brasserie). Located across Bay Street and the river, it is walking distance to many other attractions."

"This hotel is ran by liars. We were not able to make our weekend trip due to my daughter being sick. The person over chat said they couldn’t cancel it with no penalty and the other employee over the phone stated they COULD cancel it with no penalty. I had to dispute it with my bank and the hotel claims I stayed there!!! I am a Hilton Honors Gold member, about to be diamond and have never been treated this way. We visit Savannah a couple times of year and will NEVER be staying with this hotel. You all are a bunch of crooks and liars."

"Great hotel convenient to much of the Historic District and River Street. Boutique hotel with nicely appointed and comfortable room. Lots of nice touches. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooftop lounge and bar area is very nice with a view of City Hall. 3 different bars, a restaurant, and a coffee shop on-site. Public parking deck is diagonally across street from the hotel. Self-parking was simple and inexpensive."

"This was my first trip to Savannah and I absolutely love this hotel!! I switched last minute to this hotel after a bad experience at the original hotel I booked. They had rooms available and upgraded me. The valet parking was $48, but easy and quick. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed by the front desk staff and environment. The decor was beautiful and everything was so clean. Room was also very clean and quiet. The rooftop bar had an amazing drink menu and had beautiful views. Breakfast in the restaurant was very nice and coffee was strong. Highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back!"
