"We booked a rate that included breakfast, but the incompetent hotel staff still charged us anyways. We didn't notice until it was too late and then life got too busy for us to be on the phone arguing with them. Would never, ever stay with a hotel whose restaurant staff did not communicate properly with the front desk/booking staff ever again. Awkward location, rooms look nice but everything is slightly wrong. Hinges on doors creak like a haunted house, poor soundproofing. Never staying here again. If anyone does want to stay here for the location, double-triple check your hotel bill. There's a lot of incompetence here."

I had a specific request for an ergonomic chair to handle some extended work during my stay. Naome at the front desk was absolutely incredible. She didn’t just look for a chair; she went above and beyond to relocate me to a room perfectly equipped with a proper desk and table setup to ensure I was comfortable. It is rare to find service this proactive and thoughtful. Between the stunning decor of the Financial District location and the top-tier service from staff like Naome, this has easily become my go-to hotel in downtown Chicago. Highly recommended!"
