"Had a relaxing weekend getaway here with a friend. The service was absolutely outstanding, especially the front desk staff, who went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming experience. Our room was wonderfully quiet, secure, and impeccably clean, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed, luxurious Le Labo bath products, and super cold air conditioning. Brunch at Tullibee was delicious, and evening cocktails at the rooftop bar provided a cool, vibrant atmosphere (though it does get very busy!). Overall, it’s a beautifully designed boutique hotel that flawlessly blends modern luxury with the historic architecture of the North Loop. Highly recommend!"

"My family booked a large block of rooms at the Hewing Hotel for a family event. I travel frequently for work and live in New York, where hotel standards are very high. I have never been more impressed with any hotel, hotel’s management, staff members, or overall service. The Khayr Abdi, Assistant Guest Services Manager was exceptional. Professional, cheerful, helpful and attended to every need we had. He made sure to take extra care of my 93-year-old mother, making sure she was looked after in every way. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. They are well trained, accommodating, upbeat, cheerful and attentive to every guest. Best front desk staff I have seen anywhere. The housekeeping staff was perfect. Graciela, the lady that cleaned our room is exceptional, gentle, and an all-around very nice person. Every housekeeping person should strive to be like her. I hope the hotel will use her as an example and have her assist in training people to be like her. The restaurant and bar staff was outstanding. The food and bar menu was comprehensive and well presented. Merlin, one of the bartenders was fantastic, positive and had a great attitude. As part of the leadership team at my company, I took special notice of the gentle, positive and complete training that was happening in the kitchen area. This positive approach came through with each employee in the restaurant and bar, both in the lobby and the rooftop bar area. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean, has comprehensive amenities, is well-managed and fun. The Hewing Hotel should be very proud of their entire team. "My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, and the Hewing did not disappoint! The staff was beyond kind and accommodating, gifting us a hand delivered bottle of champagne and upgrading our single king room to the Hennepin suite! We both felt so pampered and special. We leaned into the luxury with the robes provided in the rooms and the santal 33 soap collection was a great touch. Between the sauna, rooftop pool, and amazing service, we had the most amazing time. Will definitely be back!"
