PB hotel design editorial

Conceived as the centerpiece of MGM Resorts' $8.5 billion CityCenter development — the largest privately financed construction project in American history when it completed in 2009 — the twin curved towers designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects brought a genuinely urban ambition to the Las Vegas Strip. Aria Resort & Casino rises across 61 floors, its floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall catching the desert light differently at every hour, the convex facades generating a sense of continuous movement that most Strip properties, locked into static monumentalism, never attempt. The Sky Suites component sits at the tower's upper reaches, separated from the main hotel as its own access-controlled enclave. The interiors visible in the suite images reflect a recent refresh — grey upholstered headboards with scalloped profiles, clean white lacquer case goods, tonal linen drapery, and a palette of warm greige and charcoal that keeps the floor-to-ceiling Strip panorama as the dominant visual event in every room. Suite living areas introduce walnut-toned divider columns, low-slung lounge chairs in cream bouclé, and cobalt area rugs that anchor the space without competing with the view. The restaurant image — Gothic barrel vaults, a sculptural iron tree displaying spirits bottles, deeply carved wooden relief panels — points to Bárbara, the hotel's Mexican dining venue, where the architecture operates at a completely different register from the rooms above, theatrical and grotto-like against the tower's cool restraint.

"Bellagio spa tower is a superior venue with renovated rooms. You will have trouble getting into the tower and we were placed in the old main tower having to walk through to smoke filled casino to get to our room. Staff followup, including that of the General Manager was non-existent."

"Hi, I am a platinum card player. I had checked in on 5/17/2026 from flight MGMAir f om MI, CIN to Borgata on May 17 - 21, 2026 with my ID, Credit Card, and my guest, along with five bus loads of MGM patriots and their guest from DTW and Cincinnati, Ohio. I had attempted to redeem my Milestone Rewards Air Travel Credit of up to $600 at the Rewards Desk from Emoni, since I was informed by AA mrg, during my stay in 4/2025. I could not find my flight, but was told to bring it back and I would receive credit then. I had came back in April 2026 to show my stay and flight in 4/2025, yet was told by rewards desk attendant Emoni, that flight and stay had to be on the same day that i had arrived, which would be on 05/17/2026. I had asked to speak with AA mgr, whom had agreed the same thing that Emoni had stated. But this AA mgr is the one that stated the above statement, that I would get credit. My Air Travel Rewards were not rewarded. On my last day, 5/21/2026, at approximately 9:30am, I had purchased a $10 My Vegas Reward dining credit. Emoni had stated that it was applied to platinum players card. I had decided to eat at The Metropolitan Restaurant. Upon payment of my bill, the mgr of the restaurant stated the reward credit was not uploaded on my card and to go back to rewards desk. I did attempt to talk with Emoni, but she decided to take several men before me, giving them membership cards. Emoni stated, "I can do that!" She raised her voice with a disgusting look on her face. Emoni had voiced to me that she had added notes in my account on my behavior. I had spoke with Mgr Giffeen, whom stated that My Vegas Reward credit was not added, she did not see it, nor did Emoni put any notes in my account. Mgr Giffeen had add another $10 credit. On my check out date, 05/21/2026, I had received my bill from hotel front desk attendant, Oscar, totaling $854.64. He had attempted to get a mgr to clear charges after requesting me to show that I was with MGMAir charter services. He had deleted the charges, yet when I had returned home. My credit card was charged $183.66 twice, once on 5/20/2026 and another on 5/21/2026 by the hotel front desk. I had called the hotel front desk on 5/22, talked Rebecca, whom got me in touch with Cathy from the guest experience. She stated that I was refunded $854.64. No charges should be on my credit card. Yet these two charges of $183.66 remain on this date. Which I am disputing. I have never been treated like this. There are new staff members that do not know what they are doing. I should not have to go through this. I have been coming there x 3 years or more."

"This casino is going downhill. Payouts are terrible the food at the food court absolutely disgusting. Not enough handicap parking either. Go to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. Much nicer"
