PB hotel design editorial

Sitting inside the lower floors of Mandalay Bay's curved gold-and-glass tower — one of the Strip's more quietly confident pieces of late-1990s resort architecture — the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas has always played a particular game: using the conventions of a non-gaming, non-branded sanctuary to carve genuine calm from one of the noisiest addresses on earth. Opened in 1999, it fills floors 35 through 39 of the 43-storey Mandalay Bay structure with 424 rooms and suites that have their own dedicated entrance, lobby, and pool deck, making the separation from the casino floor feel complete even if the building envelope is shared. The interiors have moved through several iterations, and the images here show two distinct room registers — one in warm champagne and ivory with textured wall panels and a restrained contemporary palette, another in richer tobacco tones with geometric-patterned wallcovering, tufted bench, and amber glass lamps that carry a mid-century American hotel confidence. The pool terrace, framed by a dense planting of mature palms and anchored by a sculptural waterfall feature, manages a resort-garden atmosphere that feels genuinely removed from the Strip visible just beyond the perimeter. A dining room with walnut millwork, slat-screen room dividers, and Octo-style pendant lighting in white lacquered steel pulls toward a Southeast Asian warmth that nods, lightly, to the broader Mandalay Bay identity without leaning into pastiche.

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Reviews

"General manager, Mr James Muzika provided exemplary service. As the director of room experience, he greeted every guest upon arrival and was attentive to each detail of the inquires, and requests. The valet staff were extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. The room service staff was particularly respectful of food placement and a description of the food items delivered. Ismar, was particularly outstanding. The cleaning staff were extremely efficient and the rooms were beautifully maintained. The concierge and front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming as well. We would highly recommend the Four Seasons for future trips. The primary reason was the leadership of Mr. James Muzika and the entirety of the positive energy of the staff and the mission of guest experience. Paula Rainer"

"I have a habit of picking a new hotel every single time I go to Vegas.. there’s just so many that I want to explore but this hotel really hit the mark, and this habit of mine might end here! All of the staff that we interacted with were so incredibly kind, I even had an extended conversation with one of the women whom dropped our bags off to our room during check-in, and it’s moments like those I really appreciate. We stayed in the Premier Strip-View Room which had a beautiful view through an entire wall of floor to ceiling windows. It looked identical to the photos online. Incredibly clean and we did not run into housekeeping at all, they came while we were not in the room every single day, which is something I always appreciate. The restaurant, Veranda, had some truly amazing food and service. We unfortunately did not get a chance to try it for lunch, but the breakfast was so good that it had us wishing we stayed longer to try more things on the menu. We also had a couples massage at the spa, which was out of this world. I had mine with Robert, who was so incredibly attentive and knew exactly what I wanted. While asking me questions before the massage, I hardly even had to explain myself further because he already knew exactly what I meant. You can really tell that he is amazing before he even begins. I did wish that the spa was a bit bigger, as there isn’t much to do outside of spa sessions other than use the sauna, but I truly can’t complain with how amazing the massage was. What really got me with this hotel was how immediately refreshed we felt when coming back daily. It’s seriously an immediate feeling as soon as you step into the hotel. There’s no loud music or loud conversations, no smoking, etc. that you would expect from pretty much every other hotel on the strip, and they also have this amazing scent going throughout the hotel that really adds to the ambiance. We mainly noticed this when we came back after walking through the Mandalay Bay casino. It was incredibly loud, crowded, and the smell was not very pleasant over there. But the second you step through those doors that connect Mandalay to Four Seasons, it’s the *complete* opposite. You really feel it without even thinking about it. I really value having moments of “peace” like that, and this hotel goes above and beyond with providing that feeling."

"I assumed that we would have a Four Seasons experience when we booked. But this property did not live up to those expectations - which was of course disappointing. Like many things, expectations drive the experience. Our expectations were not met - whether room quality (which is less concerning) or service (too many missteps and errors). Staff that often seemed more Mariott than Four Seasons. To be clear, some staff were great - others were not. But at a Four Seasons I expect more. We love the Four Seasons - but if you are a FS regular, you may have to temper your expectations."

"We stayed at Four Seasons Las Vegas over New Year's, and it was the perfect place to celebrate. The service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and effortless. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome, even during one of the busiest times of the year. One of our favorite parts of staying here was being able to enjoy the excitement and energy of Mandalay Bay and the Las Vegas Strip, then return to the peaceful, quiet atmosphere of Four Seasons at the end of the day. It really offers the best of both worlds. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Las Vegas."
