PB hotel design editorial

Sitting inside the lower floors of Mandalay Bay's curved gold-and-glass tower — one of the Strip's more quietly confident pieces of late-1990s resort architecture — the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas has always played a particular game: using the conventions of a non-gaming, non-branded sanctuary to carve genuine calm from one of the noisiest addresses on earth. Opened in 1999, it fills floors 35 through 39 of the 43-storey Mandalay Bay structure with 424 rooms and suites that have their own dedicated entrance, lobby, and pool deck, making the separation from the casino floor feel complete even if the building envelope is shared. The interiors have moved through several iterations, and the images here show two distinct room registers — one in warm champagne and ivory with textured wall panels and a restrained contemporary palette, another in richer tobacco tones with geometric-patterned wallcovering, tufted bench, and amber glass lamps that carry a mid-century American hotel confidence. The pool terrace, framed by a dense planting of mature palms and anchored by a sculptural waterfall feature, manages a resort-garden atmosphere that feels genuinely removed from the Strip visible just beyond the perimeter. A dining room with walnut millwork, slat-screen room dividers, and Octo-style pendant lighting in white lacquered steel pulls toward a Southeast Asian warmth that nods, lightly, to the broader Mandalay Bay identity without leaning into pastiche.

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Reviews

"My stay at the Four Seasons Las Vegas was absolutely flawless. It offers the perfect balance: you are right on the Strip, but because the hotel is non-gaming and non-smoking, it feels like a peaceful sanctuary away from the chaos. The service is exactly what you would expect from the Four Seasons—warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. My room was stunning, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with a breathtaking view of the fountains and the desert landscape. The private pool area is fantastic and much more relaxing than the typical Vegas "pool party" scene, yet you still have full access to the amenities at Mandalay Bay if you want more excitement. It is truly the best of both worlds. If you want a sophisticated, high-end experience in Las Vegas, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!"

"I’ve been to Vegas a number of times but this was the first time with my family. The FS was the perfect choice, you’re away from the center of the strip which is way too chaotic for most kids. The hotel has use of the Mandalay bay pool but also has its own private pool. The staff and service is fantastic, I truly cant fault the hotel, they even give you free water in your room which apparently is a rarity in Vegas! If you like a bit of R&R in Vegas then stay here."

"This was a very classy hotel with phenomenal room service. All staff were friendly and welcoming. We rarely saw the room maid come and go, but they did an amazing job each day. Also left us waters every day, tied up our phone cords each morning with cute logo velcro straps, refolded the TP every day, totally changed the bed linens every day, and replaced all towels daily even if the were hanging up. They also straightened all of our stuff daily. Turned the beds down at night. This is the best hotel room service we have had since before Covid. The only thing like this these days is usually cruise ships. Very impressed! We have stayed in the Mandalay Hotel once and the W several times. The W is really nice and we like the room layout better, but the service at Four Seasons takes it up a few notches. The business meeting room was very nice. Excellent food provided. Oh, the greeters outside the doors also offered outstanding service."

"Close to perfection. We ended up switching reservations from the Venetian to the Four Seasons and boy, are we glad we did. A breath of fresh air to be on a quieter part of the Strip, and the Four Seasons still offers the best of both worlds with full access to Mandalay Bay with all of its amenities and large casino. 🛏️ stayed in a Strip View room on the 38th floor. Well worth the extra spend - spectacular views of the Strip, especially at night with key landmarks such as the Sphere, Luxor, and New York New York. Room was spotless - major kudos to the housekeeping team who do such a thorough job. Evening turndown offered as well, fresh towels offered and they even laid out my reading glasses and hand moisturiser on my nightstand. 🍴breakfast at Veranda offered the perfect start to the day, especially sitting al fresco on the patio overlooking the pool area. 🏊🏼‍♂️ pool area is spotless and the staff here work incredibly hard, running around with pitchers of ice water, frozen fruit cubes, and drinks. Pool gets very popular from midday onward. We missed out on taking the house car a few times, make sure you grab it early when needed or give yourself plenty of time. Given our late departure back to 🇬🇧, they were able to accommodate a late check-out for $75 which we were very grateful for. Safe to say, the Four Seasons will be our go-to in Vegas for future stays - absolute perfection!"
