PB hotel design editorial

Sitting inside one of Las Vegas's most theatrically Roman addresses, Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace makes an unlikely but quietly convincing argument for Japanese restraint within a property that elsewhere traffics in marble emperors and gilded colonnades. Opened in 2013 within the original Centurion Tower of Caesars Palace — itself a Strip landmark dating to 1966, designed by Melvin Grossman with Jay Sarno's characteristically maximal Roman fantasy — the hotel converted 181 rooms across multiple floors into a dedicated enclave, with interiors guided by the Rockwell Group in close collaboration with Nobu Matsuhisa and his partners. The rooms move decisively away from their surroundings: warm-toned bamboo and walnut cabinetry runs in horizontal bands against dark ribbed paneling, custom carpets carry abstracted kintsugi-like gold-vein patterns across stone-grey grounds, and headboard walls arrive either in brushed plaster with painted ink-branch motifs or gilded panels bearing delicate cherry blossom imagery. The restaurant below deploys a canopy of billowing white lantern pendants above curved upholstered banquettes and patterned fabric booths, the bar wall clad in dense, fractured stone that anchors the warmth above it. Outside, Caesars' baroque cartouche-shaped pool — edged in mosaic medallions, flanked by cypress and white-canopied cabanas furnished in cobalt blue — maintains the parent property's imperial register, a deliberate counterpoint to the Japanese quietude one floor up.

"The staff are very friendly. The location is so convenient. I appreciate the safe access to/ from room to casino floor. The room is clean and tidy. It could use a little update. Overall, an enjoyable stay."

"If you’re looking for a hotel that doesn’t have a casino, this one technically doesn’t. However, it’s nestled in the middle of Caesar’s Palace and to get to the elevator that takes you to the hotel lobby and rooms, you have to go through the casino of Caesar’s Palace. The rooms are comfortably sized with large bathrooms. The beds are hard and the bedding is feathers. Why have hotels gone back 100 years to feathers? Why not have straw beds too? Feather pillows leave you sleeping on nothing more than a pillow case with feathers on either side of your head. Plus, they really aggravate allergies. Overall, disappointing."

"I had a very disappointing and frankly insulting experience at Nobu Hotel inside Caesars Palace. The issue started with the bathroom towels in my room. The towels were extremely poor quality and shedding heavily. I didn’t realize it immediately, but the lint transferred all over my clothing. One of my outfits (black and navy blue) ended up completely covered in white fluff from the towels, ruining its appearance. I contacted customer service expecting some level of professionalism and help. Instead, I was told to go to the convenience store at the front of the building and buy my own lint roller. This response alone was completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be a luxury property. I then spoke with the manager, Anthony , over the phone. Unfortunately, the interaction was just as disappointing. He was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed no accountability. After 5 minutes on the phone and telling me they NEVER had an issue of the same he said he would send a buy one for me and offer for free. (REALLY?!?!) There was no real attempt to resolve the issue or take responsibility for what happened. At no point did I feel valued as a guest. The combination of poor room quality and even worse customer service made this a very frustrating experience. And this is not even night 1 of 3 Btw and as a side note for a deluxe room , my view of the so called floor 75 ,(you can think of wow what the view like lol )is more like floor 7 with a massive building covering the view a few meters from my window , For a hotel associated with the Nobu brand and Caesars Palace, this level of service is simply not acceptable. I would not recommend staying here."

"We just returned from a four-night stay at the Nobu Hotel in Las Vegas, and overall it was excellent. We loved the convenience of the private elevator and how close it is to everything inside Caesars Palace. We didn’t realize how large Caesars is until we explored it each day. Overall, we have only good things to say about Nobu. Below is a quick list of pros and cons of staying here. Pros 1. You’re staying at Caesars, so you don’t really need to leave the property—though getting out to the Strip is easy if you want to explore. 2. It has a true boutique hotel feel, which matches what other reviewers have said. 3. Service was excellent. Check-in was quick, and they accommodated an early check-in. Any questions we had were answered, and any issues were handled promptly. 4. The hotel was very clean, hallways, lobby, and room. Cons: 1. Even if you sleep through it, you can still hear the Omnia nightclub. After going one night, I understood why—it’s huge, and it’s even louder inside. 2. Housekeeping could be more consistent. We had to request extra towels, and they arrived quickly. 3. Room service food options were limited, and the ordering process felt confusing. Menu availability also seemed to vary by time of day."

"I recently stayed at the Nobu Hotel Las Vegas and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The customer service was truly outstanding. The guest service team reached out prior to our arrival to make sure everything was taken care of prior to our arrival. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The location was also perfect, right in the heart of the Strip with easy access to everything Las Vegas has to offer. On top of that, the room was spotless and beautifully maintained, which made the stay even more relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Las Vegas."
