PB hotel design editorial

Sitting inside one of Las Vegas's most theatrically Roman addresses, Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace makes an unlikely but quietly convincing argument for Japanese restraint within a property that elsewhere traffics in marble emperors and gilded colonnades. Opened in 2013 within the original Centurion Tower of Caesars Palace — itself a Strip landmark dating to 1966, designed by Melvin Grossman with Jay Sarno's characteristically maximal Roman fantasy — the hotel converted 181 rooms across multiple floors into a dedicated enclave, with interiors guided by the Rockwell Group in close collaboration with Nobu Matsuhisa and his partners. The rooms move decisively away from their surroundings: warm-toned bamboo and walnut cabinetry runs in horizontal bands against dark ribbed paneling, custom carpets carry abstracted kintsugi-like gold-vein patterns across stone-grey grounds, and headboard walls arrive either in brushed plaster with painted ink-branch motifs or gilded panels bearing delicate cherry blossom imagery. The restaurant below deploys a canopy of billowing white lantern pendants above curved upholstered banquettes and patterned fabric booths, the bar wall clad in dense, fractured stone that anchors the warmth above it. Outside, Caesars' baroque cartouche-shaped pool — edged in mosaic medallions, flanked by cypress and white-canopied cabanas furnished in cobalt blue — maintains the parent property's imperial register, a deliberate counterpoint to the Japanese quietude one floor up.

"Originally had a booking with Cesar’s Palace & was lucky enough to receive an upgrade to Nobu Hotel. Best experience we have ever had, starting with hand towels covered in refreshing essential oil. Private gym, complimentary coffee in the lobby with amazing service from all staff. On this trip we had the pleasure of outstanding service from Jordan specially. Thank you for making this trip memorable, we appreciate you!"

"Pros: Friendly & helpful staff, comfortable beds, and luxurious toiletries & room amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash/lotion, robes, slippers). Our room was ready ahead of the regular 4pm check-in time by several hours, allowing us to check in early for free. Its central location on the strip (inside Caesars Palace) was super convenient and we appreciated having a private (quiet) check-in area that was separate from Caesars. Cons: The main reason I'm not rating any higher than a 3 is that I don't believe that the hotel rises to the standard or level I would expect from a 5-star hotel, which is what it advertises itself as. -No free coffee in the room, so if you want to use the provided Keurig, you'll have to either purchase the coffee pods on the food minibar or go buy your own from CVS, Walgreens, etc. They offer free coffee by the front desk each morning, but it was very basic and limited to 3 hours (not after 10am). -Housekeeping carts were left outside the rooms once they were done with them, which was an eyesore when we returned each night. -Did not get turn down service one of the nights we were there (we always made sure the Do Not Disturb was removed from the door each time we left the room). -While the decor is nice and relatively modern, the rooms do show some signs of wear, from the walls/ceilings to the floors and lights. -We were charged for "taking a food item" from the weighted food minibar despite the fact that the item we were charged for was never placed on the bar in the first place (there was an empty spot on the food bar when we first arrived which I only assume was supposed to hold the item that we ended up getting charged for. As of posting this review, our refund is currently pending an "investigation" so we will see). -The A/C is not very good. You can either have the A/C or the fan on, but not both at the same time. If you choose A/C, it kicks on and off every ~15 minutes, which made sleeping really difficult. It says it got to 65, but I can guarantee you that that room was never lower than 70 degrees. Overall, I'm giving a 3 because I felt like I paid a premium but did not get a premium experience. It was an okay stay, not terrible by any means, but I'm not sure I'd pay to stay here again when there are so many other (probably cheaper) options on the strip."

"We just stayed at the the Nobu hotel in Las Vegas and it was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel was clean and modern, and everything was run efficiently. We were in the Hakone suite and it beyond met our expectations. The rooms were huge as well as the bathrooms and everything was so nicely done. We also really loved that the hotel was very central on the strip and it was easy to get everywhere. We would absolutely stay there again."

"The hotel is superb, very boutique brand and the bedrooms were exceptional. The housekeepers kept the bedrooms each and every day to a very high quality. We stayed from 3rd to 11th February 2026, and would definately recommend the hotel. Massive thanks to Casey who displayed the most fantastic customer service experience. We have been to Las Vegas six times, and this is the best hotel to stay in."
