"Beautiful little hotel in SoHo. Colorful design and artwork, not cookie cutter modern but clean and new. Good service, greetings from the staff in the lobby every time we came and went. Well located, near a couple of subway stations and lots of restaurants, including Balthazar just down the street. The room is airy and bright, with a huge window wall. Worth it to get an upper floor where you can see the sky and look over the rooftop across the street, vs lower floors you will be facing a building. The window has a privacy screen and separate blackout curtains. Comfortable space, good lighting and seating, good bedside tables with multiple drawers and electrical outlets/USB plugs. Good closet space with full length mirrors, and a small chest of drawers. The bathroom is almost perfect. Dual sinks, ledges with lots of space for your stuff, heated towel rack with soft fluffy towels, two robe hooks, good strong shower. Electrical outlet thoughtfully placed between the two sinks, making hairdryer accessible to both (a holster to store the dryer would be a nice addition.). Only flaw is the very slick floor in the shower, which is hazardous, and the drain is a bit inadequate for the strong water flow. I did find that they have rubber bath mats available on request, which I recommend! Kudos for a lovely design aesthetic combined with intelligent functionality-too often the latter is sacrificed for the former. The restaurant is good, though service was a bit spotty. Our first night, we went to get a light supper, and asked if we could sit outside. Inexplicably, the hostess put us in the courtyard, rather than the dining patio? After several minutes, not seeing any waitstaff, we inquired and found that area was for room service delivery only!? They moved us to the proper area and we had a nice meal. When we departed, the hostess was focused on her phone and didn’t notice us, so we didn’t say anything to her. Other than that, we had several breakfasts there, and it was good, but I noted they are very slow to replenish the fruits and yogurts on the continental buffet. Was told the kitchen is downstairs, so I guess it’s a bit challenging, but they should get a step ahead and not wait til a bowl is empty. We never managed to get to the afternoon happy hour 5-6 (free champagne and some nibbles). We found a welcome note on arrival, with a candle. Evening turndown service does not include chocolate, but on our last night they did deliver some fresh brownies. Overall very pleased, one of the best places we've stayed in NYC."

"Yes, it was pricey for us but the Crosby Hotel is Heaven! It is literally the perfect oasis while running around in NY. Every staff member we encountered was polite and overtly helpful. I I mean everyone! From the early and late checkin with the reception desk, the staff at the restaurant, even housekeeping. It makes such a difference in your stay. We loved the 5pm cocktail in the honesty bar! Oh, and the concierge team is incredibly receptive. I was unable to book a reservation online and they made it happed. Their response time was always less than 5 min via email! Our room was cosy, bed was so comfortable, and even with a wall of windows, it's very quiet. I do not have one negative thing to report!"

"This small boutique hotel is my favorite for many reasons. Over the past several years we have quit staying at other hotels and only stay here. From the moment you pull up out from in your car, the staff is so welcoming, so attentive, and the hotel is beautiful, unique and located in a wonderful part of SoHo, making it easy to walk to many favorite places. The restaurant and bar is a great vibe and the rooms are all decorated differently so we get a new style each time. We did have a small maintenance issue the first day of our several day stay but the hotel staff was quick to address the issue and correct the situation. We can't say enough nice things about this place and their awesome staff!"

"I first went to this hotel May 2025 for my daughters college graduation. I loved it so much that I booked it again for my stay April 2026. Place did not disappoint. I had arrived 20 minutes before formal check in. I was feeling a bit faint from not having eaten anything all day. Front desk staff said it would be 15-20 minutes to finish up my room. In the meantime they set me up in a small living room area off lobby and had a waitress come over from the restaurant within minutes to take my order. My room was on the top floor, with a king bed and they brought in a small bed brought in for my daughter who was visiting me. What makes this place stand out is the service is impeccable, food delicious and I love the quiet elegance of the property. Also great location in SOHO with world class shopping, coffee shops and dining at your finger tips."

"Really excellent hotel, surpassed my expectations. Rooms are fantatic, bathrooms excellent. The 5pm cocktail service a nice touch. Minor grumbles: gym equipped by someone who doesn't know gyms. Bar snack menu is rather limited."
