"This is our new favorite hotel in manhattan! We get a room for us and a dbl queen for the kids. It’s walking distance to so many places. The subway is a block away. Bagels a block. Great coffee 45 feet. Broadway - minute’s walk. The bar up top on the rooftop (you can just walk up usually before 5:30/6 then it’s crowded) has perfect drinks. Every time. One bartender even saw my drink was made a little low and topped it off out of the blue. The front desk staff is great. The food hall (shavers hall) at the end of the street is a good place for food and drinks too solo or with kids. Comic store one block away made the kids happy. Stay here!"

"The location was very convenient and a very awesome atmosphere. The rooms were the perfect space, very clean and secluded. The service was nice and the staff were welcoming. Especially Lamar who went above and beyond! He really made the same memorable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I had such a wonderful stay at the Refinery Hotel and would absolutely stay here again. The location is perfect—within walking distance of Bryant Park, Times Square, the Empire State Building, and so many great restaurants, making it easy to explore Manhattan on foot. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a unique industrial-chic style that feels both luxurious and welcoming. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a very comfortable bed, making it the perfect place to relax after long days exploring the city. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or any questions we had. The rooftop bar was another highlight, with amazing views and a fantastic atmosphere. Overall, the Refinery Hotel exceeded our expectations. It combines a great location, stylish rooms, and exceptional service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting New York City."

"The thermostat didn't work so the room was hot the whole weekend. Even after maintenance looked at it. I requested extra blankets but didn't get them. There were no outlets/ USB ports on the entire left side of the room which made charging devices very inconvenient. There's was absolutely no storage in the bathroom so everything had to go on the ground. The very few drawers for clothes were so small I could barely fit socks. I booked this hotel for as a treat to myself for my birthday, as I'm going through a breakup. I was so disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and the accommodations. Further, after multiple multiple issues, the staff did not try and do anything to make my experience better. Nothing offered. Further, I was supposed to receive early check in, late check out, and complimentary room upgrade. I did not receive any of this. I was told there was "no availability" for my early check in & complimentary upgrade. However, I looked online and there was a room available during my stay, so they could have upgraded me but chose not to. The people at the front desk also lacked in hospitality ettiequte. Further, as mentioned previously, I was told at check-in that I would be getting my 4pm check out. However, on my day of check-out, I was contacted by the hotel manager and told to leave my room because they needed it. There was very little apology and absolutely nothing offered to me to compensate me for hassle and the poor service."
