"The Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs is an outstanding "home base" while visiting the area. The accommodations are amazing and every staff member we encountered was helpful and pleasant. We were there for our son's wedding and the entire experience was perfect!!!!"

"Before my stay I confirmed multiple times by email that the valet would charge my EV overnight. The reservations team confirmed this explicitly on April 29 and again on May 16. When the hotel sent a pre-stay email I reminded them once more. At no point was I told this would be a problem. At other hotels this kind of communication ensures a seamless arrival where the valet expects you and is ready to help. At the Adelphi, the valet greeted me by confirming he had been told a guest was arriving who needed help charging her car — and then refused to do it. When I pushed back I was told I would need to start the charger myself via an app. I said I had the app and could do that easily — I just needed them to park the car in the charging spot. They refused to take the car. They refused to plug it in. They refused to park it in an available spot so I could start the charger myself. They just refused everything. They sent me off to find parking on my own. When I came back still not knowing what to do, the valet seemed outraged that anyone had told me he could help — and rather than taking that up with whoever had informed him before I arrived, and, I don't know, coming up with a solution for their guest, he decided he would take it up with me. I was dumbfounded. I didn't know off the top of my head who had told me that. I asked if he wanted to see the emails. The first hours — hours — of my stay were spent driving my car around from place to place, talking to hotel staff about what to do with my car, and being repeatedly refused help. Only on my fourth conversation with the front desk on the matter, where I said I would leave and go to one of the multiple other properties in town that could easily accommodate me, did the front desk staff finally go to the manager, who came up with an inadequate solution — but at least a solution. The valet who finally helped me was every bit as condescending and rude as everyone else on the valet staff. He told me he would make "an exception for me just this once," as if two written confirmations didn't exist and I wasn't simply asking them to do what they told me they would do. I was charged a $45 valet fee for the pleasure. I have had valets charge my car at luxury properties to more midrange properties and never had this level of problem. They could have just told me they don't do it, which is what I told the valet, but then they couldn't claim they offer the amenity, I guess. They don't. The valet, unsurprisingly, blamed hotel management. The renovated spaces are attractive and our junior suite had some nice touches. But the service I received did not reflect anything close to what a luxury designation would suggest. The valet staff was rude and condescending, and the front desk staff seemed to have no idea how to help a guest with a problem. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone."

"The Adelphi is, in my opinion,the best hotel in Saratoga Springs.It is centrally located and beautifully done. We visited at the beginning of the Belmont Stakes weekend so things were somewhat chaotic in the lobby but the staff was fabulous, checked us in quickly and had our bags delivered to the room. The room was large and the bathroom even larger.wonderful,modern fixtures in the bath and a very comfortable bed. I was a bit concerned about our room facing Broadway but double pane windows did an excellent job in keeping the room quiet."

"The hotel room was terrific with an enormous bathroom with a separate room with the toilet and a great walk-in shower. It had double sinks with luscious towels and lots of counter space. The hand and body lotion was very nice. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds and very lovely bedding. The hotel provided a birthday cake for my sister-in-law who was having a special birthday and also in Morrissey’s Tavern, she was given a glass of champagne and a complimentary dessert. All of the hotel staff that we encountered were extremely friendly, helpful, and provided great customer service. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Saratoga Springs. It is also well located in the downtown area and easy to walk to restaurants and museums."
