"I’d never been to Charleston before and The Spectator was a perfect first experience. The rooms were spacious and great. The service and hospitality were top notch - from the welcome cocktail to the various butlers who helped with any request. Breakfast was included and was also delicious. Lastly, the location seemed to be perfect given we were able to walk easily everywhere we needed to go."

Our kids enjoyed the breakfast delivered to our room and nightly treats waiting for us after we returned for the evening. "We had a fantastic stay at the Spectator hotel for a long weekend getaway. This has to be one of the nicest hotels from cleanliness, services, amenities, and overall stay that we have experienced. The bellman, David, was exceptional. Courteous, knowledgable, and overall helpfulness were unparalleled. Front desk staff was also warm, welcoming, and accommodating to us throughout. This hotel offers complimentary breakfast, complimentary beverages in your room (still/sparkling water and sodas) as well as snacks that are all refreshed daily. The bed was ultra comfy and we didn’t hear a peep from either inside or outside the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend."

"Perfect location for romantic getaway. Concierges are so helpful with restaurant suggestions and activities. Gorgeous bar area and those hot breakfast room service experiences are just what every couple needs when taking time to reconnect. Having a butler is something that is easy to get used to having available."
