This hotel was an old hotel used as dorms for many of us students back in those days so to stay in such a beautiful first class hotel as it is now was a great treat! Beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. In other words a pretty perfect stay. Staff is friendly and helpful including the valet personnel Jonathan and Seneca and others who treated us so well. "My wife and I just returned from a wonderful stay at The Virginian Lynchburg, Curio Collection by Hilton, and we can't say enough great things about the experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. Erin at the front desk handled our check-in with warmth, professionalism, and took the time to walk us through everything about our AMEX stay — she made a great first impression and set the tone for the entire visit. We upgraded to a suite for the stay, and the space was nothing short of impressive — spacious, beautifully appointed, and exactly what you'd hope for from a historic luxury property like The Virginian. Jonathan on the valet team was outstanding. He took excellent care of our vehicle, made sure it was ready promptly whenever we needed it, and was always eager to help with anything we asked. It's rare to find that level of attentive, cheerful service, and he absolutely delivered. We dined at the Skyline Grill, the rooftop restaurant, and it was a highlight of the trip. Dinner was exceptional — great atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. Breakfast was equally impressive, with locally sourced bacon and sausage that were genuinely delicious and clearly a cut above the usual hotel breakfast fare. My wife summed it up perfectly: "It's so nice when people make you feel so welcome." That's exactly what the team at The Virginian does — and they do it consistently. Every staff member we encountered was helpful, friendly, and professional. If you're visiting Lynchburg, this is the place to stay. We'll absolutely be back."

"I had such a lovely breakfast at the Virginian! I went on a Saturday morning (~8am) and it was not busy at all. My server, Maddie Nicks, was so kind and gave me a great recommendation (the breakfast sandwich). The food was delicious and views from the rooftop were stunning, I would absolutely recommend it!"
