At the base of Rendezvous Mountain in Teton Village, where the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's tram terminal sits within walking distance, a five-story complex of cedar-clad wings and stacked balconies steps up the terrain in a massing that borrows its vocabulary from the great national park lodges of the American West. The Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole, which opened in 2003, was designed by the architectural firm Hart Howerton to carry that vernacular tradition — rough-cut sandstone chimney stacks, pitched dormers, heavy timber framing — without tipping into pastiche. The exterior holds up against its surroundings in a way that many mountain resort builds do not, the warm grey-brown cedar siding absorbing rather than competing with the Teton Range behind. Recent interiors work has sharpened the guest rooms considerably. What the images show is a palette that has moved away from generic lodge-brown toward something more considered: deep navy headboard panels paired with terracotta velvet benches in one configuration, sculptural plaster tree-branch headboards and forest-green upholstery in another, dark-stained wood trim framing plantation shutters throughout. A lean leather lounge chair on a black steel frame adds a note of mid-century restraint. Outside, the heated pool steams against birch and spruce in winter, flagstone coping edged with placed boulders, while the terrace restaurant deploys steel fire pits and teak-slat benches against a backdrop of dry-stacked sandstone walls — the landscape and the architecture working in the same register.

"Our family had a truly exceptional stay at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and seamless. Kendall took wonderful care of us throughout our visit, ensuring every detail felt personalized and effortless. She also arranged special touches for our son, which was very thoughtful. The room service team was outstanding as well—prompt, friendly, and consistently delivering excellent meals. We also enjoyed one meal at Steadfast Grill, with good steak. The real highlight of our stay was the skiing experience, which exceeded all expectations. The ski valet team was fantastic—special thanks to Carlos and the rest of the staff for making our ski-in/ski-out days incredibly easy. Having our gear ready, warm, and quickly retrieved each morning was a luxury that made the entire trip smoother. The Jackson Hole Mountain Sports School was equally impressive. Our 4-year-old son took lessons with Kirra, who was patient, energetic and understood what he needed. Under her guidance, he made tremendous progress and genuinely loved every minute on the snow—something we’ll always remember. The only minor note is that the base area and public areas of the hotel, including the restaurants, can get a bit crowded with skiers who aren’t staying at the resort. Even so, the Four Seasons team did a pretty good job of prioritizing the in-house guest experience, and we always felt well taken care of, thanks to Kendall. Overall, our stay was exceptional in every way—beautiful property, world-class service, excellent food, and unforgettable skiing. We would return in a heartbeat."

"From check in to check out it was a great experience. The ski rental folks were helpful and friendly and you cannot beat the ease of ski in ski out. The bar tender in the speak easy needed help but he was wonderful and talented. I have to say the stand out was housekeeping, they were fantastic and attentive. Everything you expect from the four seasons. Great stay!"

"We booked a three-night stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. We knew it was before ski season officially opened, which meant that not all shops and restaurants in Teton Village were open. For us weather nerds, there was no snow on the ground when we arrived, but we got a good dusting of snow two days into our trip. Getting to the resort was an easy and scenic drive from the airport. We chose a mountain view room, and we were very happy with it. Our room was quiet with no noise from any direction. Concierge was really nice and helped us with our objective of seeing Grand Teton. We ate at Steadfire Chophouse three times – breakfast, Thanksgiving dinner, and regular dinner. All three meals were excellent. We also dined at Ascent Lounge, and we were pleased with that too. I enjoyed a coconut-milk based soup at Ascent that I am still thinking about. It was delicious! We loved the sweet treats in our room as well. The resort has a very talented pastry chef! Housekeeping was on point with excellent attention to detail. I will make an extra note of how well the hotel staff works together as a team. All in all, a great stay."

"We’ve been here several times in summer and shoulder seasons and always assumed that Christmas at the four seasons Jackson hole would be magical. But I’m afraid there is nothing going on whatsoever. It’s as if the hotel thinks that just existing is enough. No fire going in the fire place in lobby/lounge. No live music. Ascent lounge understaffed and shocked that they are not open during the day over Christmas break. The only chance for a mid day skiing break/drink at the hotel is the handle bar, which on Christmas Eve had a line all the way to Teewinot lift. All of the village action is happening down towards the mangy moose."

"Great Four Seasons property, right on top of the entrance to Grand Teton. And not far from Jackson. Hotel is huge. Typical excellent Four Seasons service. Room was super comfy and quiet, nice view. We ate breakfast here early every day, then drove off to explore Grand Teton and Yellowstone. One day we went to Jackson. We ate dinner here at the steakhouse each night. Restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend staying here."
